Oh the irony, cancelling my haze bombs. Originally I was the bomber in the party. New guy with 5* gear shows up, chums of these kids, what happens is he has that static 5* bomb. (this was a JK/RJ run). So we're down in depth 16 before the battle with the big jelly boss himself. What happens is I stop bombing since the guy they have with the static bomb keeps cancelling my poison 3* bomb. Later on they get mad that i wasn't helping which it doesn't matter since all i have are haze bombs and one attack bomb which i am heating but it's useless on jellies. Honestly what else could i do but bump jellies around. And at the end I specifically say that I'm just here for reviving then since you guys don't really need me because you already have your friend. And the kick me. >:| little brat. I lulz at the JK failure to be. Not to mention they also had a little 2* wolver newbie spamming that blast bomb around. We had another guy in the party but he left early. Probably because this pug i was in was just too disorganized. pair me up with kids and disaster with sync play sinks in.

I appreciate a good bomber, but one who has only one viable bomb, and a poison one at that? I highly, highly urge you to carry a sword or a gun so you can contribute when your bomb can't be used. :|

You and I should meet sometime, I love running around with only haze-style bombs and killing everything, even alone, it's long and dull, but seriously fun to watch if you have time to kill, add me (mention why though), PM me, do whatever, but it could be fun. :D

Hmm...
Maybe, instead of bringing all bombs, bring some sort of weapon that can deal alot of hurt to enemies.
For me, I always bring status bombs, like the arena killers, the Ash of Agni, or the Voltaic Tempest. To behonest, I only bring those for fun. And when fighting in Jelly King, I play support by killing the little jellies that heal the big jello dessert by setting one of my bomb charges (perferably the tempest). It kills the jellies instantly, plus gives Jelly King an extra surprise.
But when using my bombs, I always have a backup at hand, such as a sword or a gun, something I'm good with, and will help the group if they're in need of some extra power.
Anyway...that's how I play at least. And maybe on a side note, if you're trying to lvl up your items, maybe ask some friends to help you with it, instead of joining a random party. There are alot of players willing to share heat, but then again, there are also those who are always tapping their foot impatiently cause well...they're impatient. ;)

From what I recall, freeze and fire are the only mutually incompatible statuses. I don't understand why you would stop dropping bombs and fighting all together just because someone else starts to.
My favourite jelly loadout these days has both my fiery atomizer and my plasma cap, and I generally alternate dropping them in the "arena" style rooms and the boss level so that pretty much everything on screen is both shocked and on fire. If need be, I can also switch to my silent nightblade or voltedge to finish off some jellies, lumbers or turrets.

@Flists Well, I have all of them in either 3 or 4* form (some in both), so maybe if I'm bored some time I'll try it out. I can't imagine any reason that any of the status effects would be incompatible, other than fire and ice, and I think shock ticks breaking ice (though the shock won't prevent them from freezing).
It's just a shame that the shufflebots in the ATH are made of cardboard and chewing gum, they die way too quickly to status effects to make any sort of decent tests.
Edit: Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I've had RJ poisoned, shocked, and on fire at the same time, and I think cursed too, so that only leaves stun to add into the mix. We'll just pretend that sleep doesn't exist.

I thought that fire and freeze definitely cancel each other out (and shock spasms breaks freeze as well), but all the rest of the statuses go together? Fire + poison + stun definitely work because I've done that to JK, and I've seen things on fire + shocked as well.

How can a static bomb cancel a poison bomb? They should work in concert to do more damage. Even if the two do cancel, you should keep trying to help. If you are running with a haze bomb then stun them so the other guy can place his shock bombs easier. If not then at least try to use your other attack bomb. I don't care if it's the snarby bomb, use it! If you just stand there then you deserve to get kicked. I'm glad you didn't get carried though the fight.
Although, you should have been able to solo RJ alone. It's not like the old days were you had to have a group of well coordinated well geared folks to take him on.

Yes, the only mutual incompatible ones are freeze+fire. It's fun to see poisoned and shocked jellies on fire >:->
If you can, bring a graviton and a voltaic. Many jellies in the vortex + shock = jelly splatter.

Don't worry about being kicked. This game is full of immature whiny people (which may or may not have been warranted in your case, /shrug, I'm not a bomber!). Just toss them on your ignore list and you'll never see them again, and after being booted you can invite people in from your friends list.
Personally I don't kick anyone unless they complain a lot. Just a game, have fun, etc :)

Freeze and fire is incompatible? are you kidding? try it again.
freeze and fire combo is speeding the fire tick damages on enemies.
you do realize that the first time the enemy caught fire, it instantly deal the first tick damage on them right?
so basically, fire(damaged), freezed, fire(damaged again), freezed, and so on. everytime the enemy caught fire, it was damaged. and the frequency of their changing status if much faster than the normal fire tick damage.
best if done with 2 people, one freeze and one fire. i tried these, and it was great combo, the enemy has a hard time to move too.

Thank you for the update then. Still if your swords do more damage than the bombs, why would there be a need to kite? I mostly carry poison and haze and aggro turrets so that they are aiming me while my teammates can focus on the other side of the turrets without having to worry about all sides gunning them(arenas). I love using poison since everyone loves doing more damage as well as stopping healers/they are doing damage as well when healing a poisoned monster. Plus the 50% damage removal on monsters is a big big plus. Haze is good on wolvers too especially the alphas. Haze helps a lot for those who like to combo. Shiver kind of retains it. My role is to just smoothen out monsters. Fire is nice but i don't want to aggro. Most players hate bombers. Poison is my favorite since it can sync in with them and actually let the mobs walk in the clouds. My other bombs are for a defensive measure, fire for when we're in a dire situation and they need me to aggro, shiver for containing a monster/monsters, haze is my second favorite since it works as a good defensive bomb as well no complaints there either. I have other bombs too which i use depending on stratums. I know people dislike BAB but big angry bomb will work as a good defensive bomb/a shielding haven because of it's knock back. Didn't one legendary bomber..Fallout?.. said that bombers are suppose to be what players rely as the mob controller? I forget their exact words. And I know it's a bit crazy to rely so much on a pug to be full support but i just want to get the practice in being a full bomber.

I would've booted you too. If you feel that you're so unneeded that you don't even bother attacking, then you can go solo; Because all you're doing is making our 3 player game as difficult as a 4 player game.

I mean... monsters can get multiple status effects. If something gets shocked and then gets poisoned, it will be both shocked and poisoned. Even if you can't see the bomb's effect radius, it's still there.
Also, jelly failure to-be? If you're just wandering around shield bumping things then they would have a greater chance at success after you leave because all the jellies would have less health and deal less damage. If you have no damage output, and they don't need you to resurrect them, your presence in the party is literally a negative.
Please be more aware of what your own actions appear as to others in the future.
