I don't fully see how it would be a "security issue and will never happen." Almost everything that requires a password has an option to remember it. And by making it a checkbox, you allow people to choose whether or not they want to "take that risk."

Because, quite frankly, if people are hacking into your computer through a trojan or whatever, they don't have to just read your password, they can always attach a keylogger and get your password that way. So whatever point you had was moot.

The only real security issue it would pose is if you're sharing your computer with your family or friends, and like Franpa said you can just bop them one if they mess with your account.

That said, I fully support the idea of a checkbox to remember your password, I continually mistake the "Login using Sega" thing for it.
