I wouldn't mind getting a Devilite Overtimer (the glowy one that chucks pitchforks at you) plushie. It's round and huggable, and when I get pwned by its gaming counterparts, I can go and punch it for stress relief. :D

Let's look at this like this-

From the looks of things, there is tremendous excitement over this subject, and It may very well,that this has been asked before somewhere, sometime.

The potential for this to be successful is uncertain, cause only a hand-full of us support the idea.

for this to come to fruition would be considerably expensive, along with marketing, etc, etc, etc,.

As excited as we may get over this idea, it boils down to one thing, OOO and Sega, will simply say " no"

I'm sure the argument would then be, " well Minecraft has toys of their own..", and so does "Sonic the Hedgehog", so why not Spiral Knights?

Because, there just isn't that large of a player base, or fan base as large as the other, for them to even consider such an idea.

Very true, but if you look at some of the game overseas, they have a HUGE marketing base there, like for instance:

Promotions on soft drinks-

Promotions on other drinks - Juices, milk, etc, etc.

Special merchandize promotions, e.g., buy this, and get that.-

Followed by all the kinds of toys you could possibly imagine.

SO- If they can do it, why can't we? 2 reasons, one is, most of the would-be promotees simply don't find it porfitable to launch such a campaingn.

And second, for OOO and Sega to actually pull something like this off, would require a whole New team, for planning, advertisements, etc, etc.

That, would tremendously hurt their bottom line, for them it's an uncertain gamble, what if, things don't turn out well?

They are never going to think on all the positives, instead of all the very worst case scenarios, Just in case to be ready for them.

EDIT:

There might be one way they can pull this off, If they made a version of this game for either PS3 and Xbox, then maybe, I mean maybe because this would be the forefront to show How many more players would come to this game.

Of course we would all buy it. This is a children's game after all.

And OOO is our babysitter, so it's only natural that they play with us from time to time.
