Lagging out in Lockdown

I have had the problem of lagging out of the game while in the clockwork, but this has never been a huge problem, since when I reconnect, i'm back in the clockwork and do not lose anything. What I mean by lagging out is that everyone stops moving, or if they were moving, continue to move in that direction, even past the stage.

However, when I lag out of lockdown, usually before a match begins, (which seems to happen more often lately), I reconnect back to the Haven, and lose my 200 crowns, even though I did not even get to play the match. Sometimes I even put in energy to bribe the king, and I lose that energy as well.

This bug really needs to be fixed, because I am losing thousands of crowns to Lockdown, and I am not even getting to play half the time.

Does anyone else experience this? Does anyone have recommendations to lessen amount of lagging out?

I have this problem as well.

I have this problem as well. It almost never happens when I'm in Haven, but the clockworks or Lockdown is bad for me. I recorded a run in the clockworks and later looked at the footage to see what was going on. I noticed that the whole time I have 3 bars, sometimes I have lag spikes only because my home internet connection isn't reliable enough to play SK flawlessly for as long as I want.

Anyway, the same thing you described happens to me, "everyone stops moving, or if they were moving, continue to move in that direction, even past the stage." When this happens, I can still move normally but I cant destroy blocks, bushes or hit enemies. This lasts anywhere between 3-15 seconds. The really wired thing, is that when all the enemies re-sync into the map again, I don't teleport to where I was when the lag-out happens. And if I'm really lucky, what I'll do when the lag happens is walk around and swing my sword randomly until it re-syncs, and all the enemies will be dead, and I'll be fine. If I'm not lucky, I actually do teleport to a spot when I reconnect, and I'll be dead, because I tried to move around and got cornered by an enemy.

This happens to me the most at home, but it also happens often when I'm at school. My school is running a fiber-optic 50 Mb/s downstream and about 5 Mb/s upstream connection. With it I did pingtests to the west coast U.S. which is where the servers are, and I get very little to no packet loss, and an average ping of 70 ms.

My only explanation for this is when this lag happens, data from the server is simply failing to reach the client, yet data from the client is successfully reaching the server.

I don't how to fix this, and I know I've met quite a few other people in-game that have the same issue. Hopefully when OOO installs European servers, this will reduce the server load for local players and provide overseas players a much better playing experience.

Lockdown's my real problem

I experience the exact same thing you do, but it really bugs me when it's during lockdown. I've lost at least 2000 crowns this week alone and rising energy prices aren't helping :-\
