Create a storyline in which Boswick gets Crabs. Imagine the drama of a vulnerable Cory Sponseller persisting in his artistic(?) adventures despite his illness. It needs clawing out (no pun intended), but we guarantee the gaming world will be shocked, stunned, and moved at the efforts to make Boswick's character more meaningful. We love Spiral Knights, but it's about time the industry had a big shock for a change.
I have a challenge for Three Rings.
Is "Boswick" the Leeroy Jenkins of Spiral Knights? Or is he a fad like Chuck Norris?
I hear all these comments about "Boswick", but I'm pretty sure I've an admin post under that username.
Who is Boswick?
Because someone is rarely going to answer you seriously, Boswick is a developer from OOO who works on design. He's responsible for designing the landscapes that we see in game.
Boswick was made more well known because he liked to fool around with the scenes. He'd make himself sleep in the fountain, made himself into a tortadone in the Arcade, and likes to joke around a lot.
I don't know much about Cherub though. On the GM list I see he/she is listed under the designer tab like Boswick, but I don't hear much about him/her. Is he/she the one in charge of designing the creatures? Or is the designer tag a joint op? I'd hate to be more or less ignoring someone who's doing the same job as someone else, but the someone else is the one getting all the recognition.
Can someone enlighten me on this?
Yes, I also enjoyed George Wood's Tomb Raider 2 review.
This seems to explain that pretty well. Of course, that is from April, and things do change.
Short version: Boswick does most of the environment, Cherub does most of the equipment and creatures.
Rest of the site is worth a look, and I have to thank you for giving me a reason to go digging through it again.
Cherub already had a cult following before he joined OOO thanks to Machall and TPS (final machall comic has him just starting his job at OOO), a small minority of players (sad to admit i'm one of them) would've never even looked at this game if it wasn't for him.
Cherub is more well-known as Blackhat as far as Spiral Knights goes. To some of us he will always be Ian, though.
WAAAT?????
Don getz it O.o
