I have decided to make a gunslinger class.

I happen to like FSC so I'm thinking if I should go for the Deadshot Series. Also, there are usually fiends before FSC and that's where Shadow Defense would be useful. Now, the Damage Bonus vs Undead on the Deadshot Series may seem tempting, and the other gun sets have nice bonuses too.
Anyways to get to the point, I have 3 questions.

What armor and helm combination do you guys recommend?
Is the ASI on guns actually useful (I don't see a difference)?
What weapons should I use, assuming I have 4 weapon slots?

P.S. I already have a full Vog set with Grey Owlite Shield.

Hum, I am not a pro

Hum, I am not a pro gunslinger, but I can try to answer your questions :
- I would recommend nameless. Elemental is the best all-around defense, and it has ASI medium on each part. Deadshot is viable to run only FSC, but it's not a gunslinger armor, more a niche armor for undeads.
- yes, ASI is useful. There was some dps test, and while doing less than Damage Bonus (if i remember well) it does improve your dps. It also have some nice addition : firing faster means you'll be able to shield faster. It also decreases the animation to put your gun up and down (not the reload animation).
- Blitz Needle for piercing, Polaris or an alchemer for elemental (your choice here), Valliance for mask phase, and probably a Shivermist for last slot, or any weapon of choice.

Gunning Advice

-Nameless and Deadshot are both very good options. The key is to find fire resist uvs to compensate for the lack of natural resistance. If you are an inexperienced gunner or get owned on the mask phases you might want to lean towards nameless for the easier shielding and elemental resist. Once you are good at dodging the zombies and avoiding dmg make a deashot set to maximize your dps.
-ASI on guns only effects the gun raise and lower speed. At first this might seem weak but if you avoid reloading by raising and lowering the gun before the clip empties asi makes a huge difference. Last i remember you get around 12 additional shots a min with very high asi on a polaris. Also asi is crucial to using autoguns as it reduces the long post-firing animation that leaves you open to trojan swings.
-For FSC gunning you only need blitz and polaris. You can also bring a nova or storm driver is you are a good with thier charge shots. Alchemer damage output is very dependent on the skill of the user so use at your own risk. I generally bring Blitz Polaris Nova and Valiance when doing vana or swap out the nova/valiance when heating gear.

Hope that helps
