ive lately seen some players going into lockdown with autogun line guns.
id like to know why, since they only hit once.
autogun in LD
-Because they want a needle for Vana and like to practice with other players
-To troll/humilliate other players
-Everyone became dumb all of sudden
-People trying 'new experiences'
Hehe. I'm guessing #3.
I'm never so happy when I see someone shooting toward my general direction with a Blitz. Easy kill.
Actually how is the Blitz on Guardian Shields? Would it still only count as a single hit?
In T2 a full spray can knock maybe a third off the shield off before they walk up and murder you. There was a round where my teammate just sat outside the enemy gate tanking autogun fire while I covered for them. They never lost more than a bar and a half of health.
When I used my Toxic Needle in t2 lockdown before I upgraded it, I was using it for recon checking and distraction. It served particularly useful in hitting incoming strikers while I was holding nodes, because they tend to react to being shot rather than continue charging straight through for the kill, which gives enough time to switch out to a killing weapon.
They can be useful, but anyone using them for DPS is a moron.
I use a toxic needle (sometimes) in lockdown, and i use it as a recon finder, and for pegging at people behind my team barrier. Yes, i can be a coward. But, with plain autogun, i will just walk around them, they shoot twice, have to reload, and my brandish comes in for the kill.
Basically, don't use autogun unless you know how. and you're not a T1 noob who thinks 6 shots is pretty awesome, and will kill everyone.(some think that)
lol
*New Flash*
It was not sudden. The general public has always been stupid.
Any gun can shoot through the team barrier....
only antigua can shoot through enemy barrier, right? damn.
1 burst takes off…a single bar of life even if all of the bullets connect. Plus when you're firing, you make a GREAT target for any guy with a flourish/snarble barb.
So not only does the weapon temporarily incapacitate your character, it's also nearly useless.
