I want to see how many people agree with me, considering Nick's idea of a pure elemental damage Argent Peacemaker with Zombie damage bonus Medium was really popular.
Divine Avenger / Gran Faust dealing pure Elemental / Shadow damage respectively, good idea?
Why just these swords? If Gran Faust, then why not also Acheron? If Divine Avenger, then why not also Combuster/Glacius/Voltedge and Fang of Vog? You have to consider how such a change would affect the balance of the game.
The conventional wisdom is that swords already do so much damage, that making them pure damage would make them overpowered. To some extent this has already happened in the piercing swords (which didn't exist when the game was launched). Piercing swords simply chew up their intended targets (fiends and beasts).
No. Bad dog. Bad.
Why make strong swords even stronger? This would only make every other sword in the game except rapiers even more useless.
Agree with Khamsin. I even think piercing swords should be changed to half normal - half piercing as the rest of the swords in the game.
Dunno man, but when i tested my Acheron yesterday on depth 21 (or maybe 20?) it dealth 278 dmg to wolvers, meanwhile my BTB did... 288 so Special/Normal still have an upper hand in the form of better handling neutral monsters.
anyone wanna know about glitches?like on how to enter any tier for free?

2 hit VS 3 hit... nice logic :D
I have a better idea. Just change Divine Avengers Elemental damage (and Argent Peacemakers for that matter) to Holy damage.
Should leave DA/GF how they are now. If you want pure elemental/shadow damage swords, you would have to add beam sabers, which I'm cool with. In fact adding pure damage beam sabers would balance out t3 pvp nicely, instead of skolver/btb spam.
Nice try, although you failed tremendously. Acheron is a 3-swing sword.
BEAM SABERS.
Maybe a flashy (pun intended) cutter-like weapon? Possibly even in multiple flavors. I still think devs should work on guild features and new clockworks content though.
I don't even use em and I think that is kind of meh.
