so i made a searing edge for my woman not too long ago but couldn't trade it to her so i logged off, when i logged back in it was bound and i couldn't trade it, i'd not equipped it or anything, i sold it after i found out it was bound. i had 2 at the time i made it but the one i was wearing and still am is level 2, the one i wantedto give her was level 1. kinda annoyed that i have to go collect another gel core and use another 50 energy and not get to play for another day just cus the sword auto bound itself,
if you can possibly help the sword sold for 750 moneys and wouldnt mind having the money removed to get the sword placed onto MimiMisuzu's account, i tryed unbinding it but its 2 stars and that would need me to buy crystal energy :|

oh then i guess i managed to somehow craft the wrong hot edge cus i had 2, and i'm a noob so a searing edge is really the best i can do so far. i dont want a big slow sword and i cant seem to find any peircer weapon recipes. still kinda pissed ima have to either buy a searing edge or not play for a whole day tho :|

If you want a piercing weapon
If you want a piercing weapon you should run the Snarbolax boss a few times and trade the tokens for a Snarble Barb. If you run it with your girl you'll both get the tokens and in 3-4 trips you'll have enough for the sword. The shield and bomb area also worth farming for. You don't need any particularly special equipment to do Snarby, just try to dodge the wolver and snarby bite attacks.
If you want a sword more similar to the hot/searing edge then the brandish line is for you. They're quite cheap to buy off the auction house, either pre-crafted or in recipe form.
On the bright side, the Searing Edge isn't a very good sword. Use the opportunity to craft something with a better upgrade path?
That said, crafting a searing edge requires a hot edge as part of the recipe, and like all such recipes, if the precursor item is bound then the crafted item will be too.
