I have the Grey Owlite shield already. But I'd like a second shield and I'm very indecisive so please help me choose!
Here are my options:
-Volcanic plate shield
-Dragon scale shield
-Barbarous Thorn shield
-Ironmight plate shield
Feel free to name any shield that isn't on the list.

- Volcanic plate shield is a very good all-around shield and his excellent for heavy normal damage (read : Trojans and Vanaduke) and very good in FSC overall. It can be used everywhere. Sure, it will tank a little less than specialized shield, but it goes everywhere.
- Dragon Scale Shield is bad. Every person who tried it said the same thing : it doesn't really fit any niche. There is currently a thread on it. Don't waste your money there.
- if you are a swordsman, Barbarous Thorn Shield is a solid piercing shield with a nice sword bonus. Take it by any mean (that would be my first choice, and actually the only 5* shield I own with Grey Owlite).
- if you are not a swordmsan, Ironmight is a good alternative to Barbarous : it has more defense, at the cost of the sword bonus (which you don't need if you are not a swordsman ...).
If you want a plate shield you could always get the ancient plate for "free" with vanaduke tokens.
But in general your second shield after an Owlite should probably be a BTS.
BTS and after that Dread Skelly Shield or Crest of Almire (doesn't realy matter haha) that way you have a shield for every situation

Get Barbarous if you are a swordie; but VPS should do if you are not.
Volcanic Plate Shield if you're having trouble with Vanaduke's mace attacks, otherwise go with the Barbarous Thorn Shield.
