How about a Longsword series that has 4 swings, an all-round charge attack with medium knockback (CIV-style), very little knockback (on normal hits), and can disrupt and/or stun any enemy (even attacking wolvers) with the last hit? It will deal split normal/piercing damage. I'm thinking of a sword like those in Legend of Zelda. What do you all think about such a blade?
4-swing Longsword
interesting. maybe a chance to hit multiple times in one swing, like levi's charge?
Yeah! A chance to hit multiple times in one charge swing, like the Leviathan. Since the Calibur line is thus far the only series that has this kind of charge attack, I don't think it'll hurt to have a second line do the same. Hey, maybe this longsword can be crafted from the Calibur line or something.
A long time ago, I read on the forums a request for a sword with little to no knockback on normal hits, so I figured that this longsword would be a good candidate for that. That and the smaller knockback on the charge attack would make this sword great for party delving.
The FoV (Fang of Vog) also has a Levi style charge.
That's right, the FoV does have a Levi-style charge. Oh well. Anyways, how would the idea hold up if implemented?
Bump.
