Hey guys, in your opinion, what is the best Sword, Gun and Bomb in RJP and FSC if you have 3weapon slots?

currently have Ascended Calibur CTR Low, Shivermist Buster CTR Med, Volcanic Demo Helm, Vog Cub Coat, Heavy Plate Shield.

Planning to have Deadshot/Nameless Hat, Argent Peacemaker (heard about Nick's plan of it being a pure elemental gun with damage bonus vs. undead), and a Radiant Sun Shards.

also a follow-up question-- Is this load-out good enough for FSC?
helmet- Volcanic Demo Helm
armor- Vog Cub Coat
shield- Volcanic Plate Shield
sword- Leviathan Blade ctr low
gun- Argent Peacemaker
bombs- Shivermist Buster ctr med and Radiant Sun Shards

out of what youve told me u have, take the shivermist, and the ascended. some say that youd better specialize ur dmg, but its gr8 for a solo sword, and killls gun puppies and polyps easily.
as for the 3rd..... argent peacemaker.
u might want to get some piercing defense too.
FSC seems like a good loadout, the lev is good for crowds and while some would put a DA in its place, u better decide for urself. but shouldnt u try to get some shadow def too?

I don't quite get what is your real question, others than listing a list of stuff and waiting for a general opinion. sword/bomber/gun hybrid, as your title say ? With 3 slots, that's going to be hard if you want to optimize. Hybrids generally pick 2 roles.

As for the FSC load-out : it's good, but I would replace Argent by a Blitz Needle, which totally destroy Vanaduke.

For RJP, you'll want an

For RJP, you'll want an Acheron (or a Gran Faust, but I prefer Acheron because the GF has high recovery time and you're vulnerable to the pesky mini jellys), a shadow gun MAYBE or an elemental for the lumbers and the gunpuppies. For the bomb the most effective one is proven to be Ash of Agni.

the FSC loadout is good.

Suppose i want to use a gun and sword (while keeping shiver) for FSC, is the nameless hat a good investment? :) shall i replace my volcanic demo helm with it? :)

RJP I wouldn't waste time

RJP I wouldn't waste time with a gun, unless it's biohazard, so:
Biohazard (usually I use Fiery Atomizer instead)
Faust
Radiant Sun Shards

for FSC I always use:
Glacius
Callahan
Dark Briar Barrage

Nicoya, it's pointless to use 3 weapons with the same status effect.

FSC loadout

If you can only take one sword to FSC, Divine Avenger is without a doubt the best choice

When it comes to Gun/Bomb combo, you have two options IMO

i use Blitz Needle/Voltaic Tempest (VT owns zombies, Blitz owns vana and trojans)

or Argent Peacemaker/ShiverMist

Basically, do you want to be the person Shooting Vana, or freezing him.
Of course you could do Blitz/Shiver as well that way you're versatile. But i personally love VT.

If I could take only one sword to FSC, to best honest I'd take Glacius then take an Electron Vortex and Blitz Needle.

@Batabii It's not pointless at all. The shock status infliction on the bomb and gun are just icing on the delicious, chocolatey cake of their primary role, which is to cluster enemies for the sword charge attack, and take out turrets, respectively.

If you were implying that three of the same damage type is unwise, then I would say again that you're mistaken, at least in this case. The only monsters in FSC and RJP that resist elemental are the, what, 3-4 wolvers in D27 FSC?

Technically you could switch out the Voltedge for a Glacius or Combuster, but the Glacius's status is much less useful in RJP, and likewise for the Combuster's in FSC.

Similarly, swapping a graviton vortex in for the electron leaves you slightly less effective in FSC, and switching a Supernova in for a Polaris, well, there's lots of threads about that already.

Granted I use a different selection of 4 weapons each for RJP and FSC (Silent Nightblade, Voltedge, Plasma Cap and Fiery Atomizer; and Voltedge, Dark Thorn Blade, Gigawatt Pulsar and Plasma Capacitor respectively) but if you want to use one set of three weapons for both, then I maintain that my original list is not only sufficient, but highly effective.

In FSC, gun puppies are few

In FSC, gun puppies are few and far between, and they are very easy to simply sword to death.

Also Vanaduke's body is weak to piercing and resists everything else, which is a huge deciding factor in what weapons to take.

As for RJP, where's your shadow damage? Shock really doesn't do much to slow down the Royal Jelly. And I tried using the Electron Bomb, it takes too long and doesn't help nearly as much as Fiery Atomizer.

Do you really need to use the same loadout for both strata? I think it's better to specialize at least a little.

@velcro I agree. Divine Avenger may have great damage, but Glacius is certainly a great utility to have around, expecially since DA was patched.

@Batabii There's definitely better individual loadouts for FSC and RJP. I just posted a good single sword/gun/bomb combination that would be effective in both.
