I think I might understand what you mean, and yes, like Haematite said, a Curse Bomb (especially of the "haze" type) would be way too OP, not to mention completely overused in Lockdown. A cursing gun may be a better option, but it would need something to offset its power.

Curse is a very rare status

Curse is a very rare status because it is extremely potent. If you curse a regular enemy it is pretty much dead, period, end of story. In T3 it'll take the equivalent of a good sword hit every time it attacks. And anybody that has been cursed and accidentally switched to a Cursed Antigua line weapon can tell you exactly how fast you'll die from it (btw OUCH!).

Being able to deliver long distance Curse status even semi-consistently would be very over powered. Same for repeatable AoE Curse without any limiting factor or price to using it. GF can Curse you with the charge, and can Curse with the 2nd swing also... 2nd swing is no where near consistent and by the time it does, unless its JK, the monster is dead, or will be in a couple seconds.

In PvP a semi-consistent AoE or long distance Curse weapon would be downright broken. It would practically become a requirement to have Curse resist in T3 PvP or you'd be completely out of luck.

Curse is overpowered.

In PVE, you practically force enemies to commit suicide when you curse them.

In PVP, you force an opponent to stop attacking if you curse him/her - which means a free kill right there.
