I love delving into the clockworks, as a game SK is just fun to play. However once you get all the gear needed to take you all the way to the core through any trial, there isn't much left worth doing. When you first start the game you are given a tutorial objective to "get to haven" and once you get there there are 2 objectives in the arcade and one for every dungeon. I think it would add a twist to the game if weekly or daily objectives were added. there could be several for each tier and some for PvP. the rewards would be small, a 300-600cr value in crowns or tokens. It wouldn't add content but it would add motive to keep playing the game.

Bumpin' this a bit

I like the idea of havin’ some form of miniature goal to follow about as I play through the game. Anyone who’s played Dofus knows that there’s these “challenges” in every battle ya get into, with certain conditions rewardin’ ya with more money, experience, and drops.

I can only wonder how such a thing would work in Spiral Knights, though…

Other ideas

I think giving a crown/token/energy bonus for completing certain acheivments (like Bronze/Silver/Gold Survivor, Cradle and All, etc.) would be a cool idea. Gives something to strive for when exploring the Clockworks.
