Random musings of a passing Rageling

Things I think about when I kill Vana for the umpteenth time.
1. What did wolvers eat before Spiral HQ arrived on Cradle? Evolutionary they would be hunting things weak to pierce which would be fiends and….themselves?
2. If guns have infinite ammo could we replace Skylarks engines with a million magnus’ hand guns and fire them all off? One round already has sufficient recoil to lift a knight off his feet.
3. What happens to mecha knights when you leave them in a depth? Are they having shock tea parties?
4. The skylark must be huge if they had lifepods for every single knight. Since 000 has said there are a million accounts, there should be a small mountain of lifepods on cradle somewhere. If each life pod were a meter wide and placed in a line that would be almost 1/3rd of our moons diameter.
5. Why do beginners take the effort to find, sign up and log into arsenal forums to find questions when there is a free to access wiki?
6. What are the denizens of Emberlight colony banished for? For all we know they could be murders and pedophiles.
7. Strangers are a friendly race that sells weapons, equipment, and recipes to outfit a small army. Where did these merchants of death get all that stuff before we arrived?
8. How does a Chromalisk’s spit (a liquid) deal pierce damage?
9. What sort of industry are devilites in?
10. Why are my feet so tiny?
Please don’t take me seriously.

I laughed at all of these, especially 2 and 8.
In my Seraphic set, I don't think I even have feet. Pretty sure my legs just end on a stump at the ankle or something. ):
11. Why do Chromalisk's sweat?
12. What is going on in the mind of the knights, when they play invisible gameboy?

13. If love puppies love us unconditionally despite us destroying them. Does that mean they are masochists?
14. What happens when you heat a shivermist?
15. Why doesn't typing /sleep in the clockworks put you under sleep status?
16. Shouldn't the volcanic armor make you less susceptible to freezing since they are firey and hot? As in molten lava dripping of you hot?
17. Guns do less damage then swords in this game. Wouldn't the spiral engineers have solved this problem by inventing guns that shoots out swords?

8. How does a Chromalisk’s spit (a liquid) deal pierce damage?
like this. No idea why it would deal piercing after it lands on the ground though. Also, the liquid does not appear to be traveling that fast. Perhaps the liquid is super dense?
9. What sort of industry are devilites in?
I've often wondered this myself.

#4: Maybe some of the knights are born on Cradle, and just put through the training regimen so that they don't die too horribly.
#15: Nothing can inflict sleep on knights now. NOTHING, y'hear me? NOTHIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGG!
#17: They have, and it shoots Divine Avengers. It's called the Polaris.

8. How does a Chromalisk’s spit (a liquid) deal pierce damage?
Sharp spinies in the loogies.
10. Why are my feet so tiny?
My condolences.
14. What happens when you heat a shivermist?
Ask Shaq and he'll tell you about a back patch.
17. Guns do less damage then swords in this game. Wouldn't the spiral engineers have solved this problem by inventing guns that shoots out swords?
Divine Avenger is actually a really, really cool gun.

There are wings on wolver dens... and those are only alive because they work as slaves, healing in battle.
#2
The skilark will launch, but lose control once we leave the atmosphere. No air filled with natural energy in space to shoot the guns again so this would only work if Cradle is perfectly aligned to our planet without any obstacles.

#7: They aspire to be like their forefather.

Maybe it's piercing because of its armor dissolving/corroding properties.

Some new, some ones I've heard before:
18. What is Basil doing with all the crowns we're giving him?
19. How often do Gremlins need to reproduce to keep their numbers the same?
20. Why don't we ever see baby Gremlins and/or pregnant Gremlins? Where do they all live?
21. Similar to the previous question, wouldn't there be baby Wolvers in Wolver dens? Then aren't we horrible knights for killing all the mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters of these baby Wolvers?
22. What happens to the Sprites you bring to the elevator, but are gone when you get to the next depth?

8. How does a Chromalisk’s spit (a liquid) deal pierce damage?
If you get the chance, look carefully at the puddle it leaves behind. You'll just barely see a spiny spheroid inside.

1. Wolvers ate other animals, but the first Knights exterminated them for heat, crowns, fun and profit. There are Wolvers left because they are the only ones strong enough to oppose Knights, and now, we're their new preys.
2. We can't use guns because... huh... because...
... look, I give up, go kick Vanaduke's ass a few more times, maybe he'll give you the answers if you stop humiliating him.

"Strangers are a friendly race that sells weapons, equipment, and recipes to outfit a small army. Where did these merchants of death get all that stuff before we arrived?"
Now come on, we all KNOW that the strangers were a magnificent race of powerful warriors before cradle ate their planet.
Why? What exactly did you think was under all those robes? I'll tell ya', A huge muscular slug-like structure and an arsenal of concealed weapons. ;)
23. Why is it that Mist Energy doesn't instantly max out when standing LITERALLY 3 feet away from the Core?
25. How do you get heat from killing an ice enemy? How do you get heat from killing ANY enemy other than a fire one?
24. How did the crystals by that one guy in the Arcade even get up there?
1: The wolvers can't eat the knights because the knights are robots. Robots=metal=not edible. Besides, see 21.
19: see my answer for 21. They don't.
20: We don't see pregnant Gremlins because only male adult Gremlins fight to defend against the Knights. All non-fighting Gremlins simply stay out of sight.
21: We don't see baby Wolvers because all enemies reside in an alternate dimension that keeps its inhabitants in limbo until they are needed to fight.
If/when the fighters are killed, they are whisked back to the dimension, restored to their fighting state and without memories of their death. There's only two Snarlborlaxis... Snarlborlaxii... Snarlborlaxatives...
26: What's the plural of Snarlborlax?
27: Why is Brinks hoarding our tokens? According to the token descriptions, they're not very safe to just hand out. Fruminous Fangs are Snarby's teeth (sharp enough to use as a nasty weapon in large numbers), and Bark Modules are circuit boards used in weapons systems.
28: If all the Knights are trying to restore the Skylark, then why don't they hand out free Leviathan Swords, Valiance, Nitronome, etc?
29: Why don't the Knights just make one huge elevator shaft that runs to the Core? 10 ene per elevator ride= just build one huge elevator.
