When i use an item that already has an UV for crafting it for higher star lvl do i still have a chance for geting another uv on it while keeping previous one?

I could be wrong but from what I understood from Wiki, if you decide to keep your old UV you have no chance on getting a new one, but I could be wrong.

With existing UV's during the upgrade process you have the option to transfer the existing UV with no chance of new or additional UVs or to discard the existing UVs in favor of a chance to gain new UVs.
In my experience you can only gain single UVs in the crafting process and that multiple UVs can only be obtained through Punch. Is this not the case; can multiple be UVs be obtained simply by crafting?

Multiple UVs can be obtained in crafting, but they are much rarer.
Yes you absolutely can! I have two UV's on my BTB, and I gained both of them by just crafting up from a Snarble Barb!
