I am having a VERY odd issue, for some reason when I play spiral knights the keys 6482 seem to be held down. I can use the keyboard to play but when I press enter immediately 648264826482648264826482....just keeps popping up. This doesn't happen in ANYTHING else. Just Spiral Knights. The same happens when I try to send in game mail, or search the auction house....I can't press backspace, nor can I press any other key while this is happening. Things were working just fine until the two patches yesterday. This is VERY hindering because I can't communicate with other players. I can't search the auction house for specifics, and I can't send mail to friends. It is odd, and should be noted that I am able to type in my account name and password just fine...Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

Things I have tried:
Logout, login: Didn't fix it.
Unplug My Keyboard: Didn't fix it.
Use a Different Keyboard: Didn't fix it.
Posting to the Forums: TBA

Thanks in advance.

Reinstall java, delete the

Reinstall java, delete the code folder from the game files, and change the USB port you plug the KB into. Its probably a minor driver conflict with one of the adv keyboard functions.

No, done, and thanks.

No, I am not on, nor have I ever used linux. As far as I am aware Windows AND OS X are both unix, so I wouldn't even know what to do with linux.

As for restarting my computer, this problem has been going on for a few days, now. I turn my computer off VERY frequently...

Thanks, Starlinvf, I didn't even consider Java, I've been having more problems than you'd expect with Java lately. Minecraft has been going crazy, as well as I have been prompted to update Java NUMEROUS times. I use AVG and Malwarebytes, I have not malware nor do I have any virus'. I've been in contact with Java and they did tell me that the latest Java update has been having compatibility issues with some users... :/ As if that were conclusive. On a side note, just to check, ALL drivers are up to date, and when the problem first started happening I was frequently switching USB ports in hopes that it was a bad port. I even tried a total of 3 different keyboards....I think for now I should just assume it's a Java thing and go back to grinding and grinding for crowns until something works out with Java :?

Thanks!

You could try an older

You could try an older version of Java. And by the way, MacOS and Linux are the ones based on Unix, not Windows.
