Hey, im not sure about this. What happens when there is item on AH with buy it now price and bid price. People start bidding and start bidding price is 5000 crowns and buy it now price is 10000 crowns.
They are using minimum increment of 5% so 14th person who bids has to put bid of 9900 crowns. So if the minimum increment is 5% next person has to put minimum bid of 10350 crowns but thats 350 crowns more than current buy it now price. What happens then?
-will next person be unable to place bid and only way to win would be buy it now or the winner will be person who put bid of 9900 crowns?
-will the person bidding 10350 crowns win the auction on the spot with refund of 350 crowns?
-will the person bidding 10350 crowns win the auction on the spot but paying 10350 (without refund since its the highest bid passing buy it now price)?
-will the auction continue with bid of 10350 crowns and removing buy it now option?
-.......
-the earth will explode?
You'll pretty much pay the Buynow price. Any extra cr that may have been added if another bid was placed will not be deducted.
In other words, the 10K will be paid, the 350 won't go anywhere. It'll stay with the buyer.
Bids cannot exceed Buynow. If it does, then it will be as if the Buynow was pressed.
