Hello every one! My fiancee and I have recently become addicted to this game. We found ourselves in T2 a few days ago, impossible.

So, we practiced and practiced and did some more practicing. (kept running T1+2 over and over again) And finally we made it up to the Jelly Kingdom. (But lolserver restart made it so we couldn't give it a go, however we were doing great.)

Now, we again went From T1->T2 got down to where Jelly kingdom should have been (depth? 14? Something like that) and got some weird place with a lot of lag missiles. They do insane damage, lag the crap out of my computer and the level in itself seems impossible for us to do without spending 50+ mist of reviving. Any tips for this missile place? We just finished our T3 set and we can't even complete the T2 area.. Don't feel good :P

besides the obvious (lol dodge the missiles) are there any thing else we should know? Maybe some special armor that makes them do less damage? Does blocking help if you find you won't make it out from the missile in time? ;>

Any help appreciated. We are both currently using Solid Cobalt Helm, Solid Cobalt Armor, Tempered Caliber and Super Blast Bomb. (Mind you, we just finished the armor so we haven't tried again with it.. But, yeah.)

What you guys need it

What you guys need is strategy. Like Run in>release charge attack>retreat>charge>run and release charge attack.

Or you could get someone to help you. Someone pro....like me!

Kidding.

The problem isn't the mobs -

The problem isn't the mobs - we have learned a rather nice strat for mobs.. The problem is the 500 missiles that you have to dodge that not only deal HUGE amounts of damage but also lag my computer.

You walk up to the missle puppies

The missiles set fire so block in front of a missile puppy who is ready to attack then there is a chance the explosion will set him on fire
Always get rid of turrets first when fighting in clockworks

If your graphics is at high,

If your graphics is at high, try reducing to low. It reduced lag for me. It doesn't always help though.

[EDIT] Also the place you went was The Roarmulus Factory. It's the other tier 2 boss. :P

They aren't turret puppies..

They aren't turret puppies.. They are stationary turrets which can be be destroyed. When you get past them you can press a button to deactivate them.. I don't know how to explain :( Don't remember the mission name.

So you are in Ironclaw

So you are in Ironclaw Munitions Factory (IMF, also called twins because of the boss at the end : Roarmulus twins).

If low graphic setting don't help you, you'll need to compensate by other methods.

First is gear : get elemental resistance armor and shield (for example owlite shield and magic armor). It will greatly reduce the damage you suffer.

Second is skill : go slower, don't get hit. The rockets are very predictible.

Another solution is : don't go in that boss run. It's known to be laggy, and you can avoid it by changing gate (the gate probably rotated and you didn't notice, go one gate left from what you took before).

Thanks a lot for the reply

Thanks a lot for the reply Fradow, helps a lot. I'll have to invest in some elemental protecive gear :)

However, you mention a 2nd gate.. Is there not only 1 gate which leads to T2? Which is located in the manor? ;>
As you can tell I don't know much about this game... :D Thanks so much for the help guys!

Every active gate has the ability to take you down to T2(and T3).

Before you actually do a dive, you could always look at the dive screen(The one that gives you the option to form a group or join a group.) and scroll down the screen to see if the gate has the Jelly Kingdom levels. This is useful for seeing if there's any good levels in the gate before you dive into it.

Oh, about the Jellies

If you plan on doing the Jelly Kingdom (which people usually shorten as JK, seeing as they call the boss Jelly King) again, instead of IMF, you should considering getting some piercing-resistant gear instead of elemental (the Wolver line being an excellent example). Why? Well, all the jelly cubes does piercing damage, including the boss.
I wish you luck on whatever you do!

:D

I'd be glad to help you guys in T2, just add me and I'll join you if I'm on+not busy. IGN>Fehzor

Another tip for lag is to restart java at the start of laggy levels/areas. To do this, go to processes via ctrl+alt+delete, and end the java one. Then, restart your client, and you'll be sent to where you were before- with less lag.

I'd also considder flipping through the guides on the wiki- http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Main_Page
They helped me when I was T1/2.
