I'm a person who constantly goes on Roarmulus Twins runs (I can't exactly do Jelly King runs successfully--I've been on two or three), and I have enough Tokens to get any of the Bark Module weapons. I'm a versatile person, who uses guns, swords, and bombs, and I'd choose bombs over guns. However, guns are better to use in Ironclaw Munitions Factory, so Static Capacitor isn't an option at the moment. That leaves the guns: Catalyzer and Pulsar. Now here's the question: Which is better for doing multiple Roarmulus Twins runs?
Catalyzer or Pulsar?
The problem with Pulsar is that its upgrades cause Shock, and there are loads of Quicksilvers. Even so, does the regular Pulsar cause Shock? And how's Catalyzer?
And I always go in groups for all boss runs minus Snarbolax (and Vanaduke, but only because I'm not a Tier 3 knight, but I would always fight Vanaduke in groups unless Tier 3 is really easy or something).

Use a different weapon against quicksilvers? That's the really the only thing I can say about it.
From my understanding, Catalyzer is good too. It can be upgraded into a Shadow weapon that can inflict poison, so you can more easily handle some gremlins and quicksilvers there. But the bullets are slow, so it might not be too helpful.(Not to mention, there's more constructs than quicksilvers and gremlins in a Twins run. Or at least, it feels there's more constructs.)

This shows off the Biohazard(Which is the fully upgraded shadow damage line of the Catalyzer.) a little. So it can give you an idea of what it's like.
Thanks to you, I've made my decision. I'm going to get a Catalyzer! It's like a bomb and a gun in one weapon, and, being a person who favors bombs, it'll KO those Quicksilvers and damage nearby ones. When I get more Bark Modules, I'll be sure to pick up Pulsar and Shocking Capacitor, along with the Quicksilver set. Thanks for your help, Kreuz-Drache!
I love the elemental pulsar line in the Ironclaw Munitions Factory. Shocking quicksilvers isn't bad - just get your shield up quickly and they'll kill each other for you, but I generally don't shoot them anyway.
When I run the Twins, I prefer to take an elemental pulsar, a nightblade, and a freezing or fiery vaporizor. The gigawatt pulsar does enough damage to the Twins themselves that I only use my sword for the switches in that battle. The trick is to recognize when a rocket is going to hit (but not there yet) and fire off a clip of pulsar bullets. Rocket hits and then the bullets do their damage long before you could be next to the puppy swinging a sword, which allows you to do a lot more damage.
Before I had a pulsar, I used the firotech alchemer line in the IMF. The things you want to shoot (retrodes and gun puppies) are weak to elemental. It's better to take care of quicksilvers and gremlins with a sword, which is why I bring a nightblade.
That said, I do really like my toxic catalyzer, so you will get good use out of that gun. It's especially great in lichenous lairs and slime arenas - anywhere you know you'll encounter polyps or giant lichen colonies.
Well, Pulsar can be upgraded into an elemental gun, and a lot of the enemies at the twins are constructs and constructs are weak against elemental base attacks.(Not to mention it's pretty nice for pushing back hoards. Just be sure to use it carefully in groups.)
So I would try getting that first.
Also, for those Jelly King runs, do you go solo or with groups? Cause I personally feel Jelly King is easier in groups than by doing it solo.(But that's just me.)
