I sure hope they exist in the Jelly Kingdom levels... I've recently been leveling up a new set of shadow dmg gear for the Jelly Kingdom and I recently realized there were no arsenal boxes in the Snarl levels.. Why is that? ;<
Why are there no Arsenal Boxes in the Snarl levels?
I don't understand why that makes any sense what so ever... =/
I spent all this time leveling a sword specifically for the Jelly levels only to learn that I won't be able to change back to my regular sword for the actual boss fight. (I dislike the fighting style of this sword, despite it being superior vs jellies. I also know that the boss itself has no weakness so I would prefer to fight with the sword I'm more comfortable with.)
That's where you're wrong though. The Jelly King himself is now weak to shadow damage.
Oh! Then I was misinformed. Thank you, Soind. However... I still believe that there should be arsenal boxes in /all/ levels ;>
Bosses are supposed to be challenging, so it seems only natural that arsenal stations are not on every level.
They are suppose to be challenging and the stratum doesn't change. I haven't been in a shadow lair but I assume there is only one at the start and none through the rest of the levels.
You kids and your arsenal boxes... :D Back in the day, we clawed our way through the Clockworks with whatever we had on hand. None of these fancy quick-change loadouts or adjustments.
I feel that part of the challenge is to decide what to equip, although there certainly are good points to the arsenal stations. For one, it empowers those running with only two weapon slots, and encourages knights to try to build more equipment.
that would make item slot (usable things) just a waste of money since you can change your gear every time. just equip both weapons :)
I definitely agree Mohandar, it is the only reason why my Fiancee and I are enjoying this game - the gear. This game is very tactical - difficult to master it seems. We are both avid gamers having played many different MMORPGs (both P2P and F2P) and this one seems to be the all out best. We enjoy leveling different pieces of gear and thinking which armor / weapons would be the best choice for the different runs. It's why we enjoy the Arsenal Boxes so much. I don't think the game would be nearly as fun for us without them!
Cheers for the advice guys(and or gals) I got the answers I was looking for. :)
There's no Arsenal Stations at boss levels except the very first one. It's done so by design, since all of them have one consistent theme (beasts, constructs, jelly, fire).
