1) i hear that the stun from a stagger storm is not very good. Is this true/ is the stagger storm worth it? ( mainly in pvp)
2) i use a combuster, so ASI isnt my top priority. Would running FSC with Skolver be ok/ logical?
Two questions: stagger storm/ skolver
Second on what Slayzz said about the stagger storm. I've never seen anyone immune to its effects. Expect everyone to shoot you and Suicidal strikers to charge in anyway, since it doesn't make you totally immune to being attacked. Strikers using boost walk at about normal pace. Combines well with a slow but strong weapons like the Sealed sword line and Callahan, since nothing can dodge very well anymore. Not very good at PvE though.
Skolver is a better all-around armor, the universal sword damage bonus is something you can't get on weapon UV's, while ASI is. If you really need to roll with just one armor set, you can adapt to FSC. Making Vog Cub with some damage trinkets or even getting Snarbolax armor (with fire resist UV's) is a better option though, FSC is THE place where Skolver's inferior to all the other Wolver options.
ah ok. Yeah i was thinking that stagger storm would be pretty awesome in pvp... does the stun last long though? (the person that said it wasn't good was cuz the stun wasn't long lasting
Hmm... yeah since i have lvl 10 ash tail right now, im trying to decide which path to take. I'll probably run FSC a couple times before hand just to see how the no fire resist works out for me.
The stun lasts long enough for them to be basically incapacitated while a team mate kills them.
Oh ok just making sure...lol i experienced that firsthand today, almost died yup
@Dark-Flare Stagger Storm pretty much dominates in PvP. Slows almost everybody down, and makes them move and attack very slow. Sucks in PvE though, since stun messes up attack animations.
Skolver is a better all-around armor; damage for brandish swords is more important than speed. Skolver + FSC makes perfect sense, as long as you dodge the fire. If fire is a problem, then you could get some fire UVs for it.
