Loitering around the arcade I came upon two players having a conversation, I must have been there long enough for them to notice me:

While they were talking I reported them and after my parting comment ran off and went down a gate.

...LOL

What idiot goes and broadcast they're scammers? Idiots.

Well, good for us, 2 less scammers under the radar :P

Good Job Agent Happyapathy. We need more knights like you patrolling the channels.

><

But really, glad someone caught them. I despise scammers... They make people who are trying to be nice look bad.

Shoudn't there be a modest ce reward for these kinds of things?

honesty is a virtue

Bah, this incident is nothing compared to this:

http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/35608

I could be owning top Lockdown players (Rubyeclipse, Feller, Chris, etc) and no one be the wiser to how I was doing it if I had wanted to exploit what I found. If there was a reward it should be for reporting this :P

Yeah

That's been bugging me ever since you made the thread. I'd never use it (whatever it is)
but am still curious as to what it is.

I imagine he's managed to change his skin to a cloaked recon (permanently) or enable no-clip like GM's have. Taking down Rubyeclipse, Feller, Chris, etc. with such confidence means some kind of immunity/immortality/invisibility glitch.

Hope you'll let us in on what it was after they fix/patch it.

It would be funny to use to put certain blowhards in their place, however.

Just saying.

I wouldn't do it, really, I mean, I don't have any personal investment in that.

No, not really. Or people would be reporting people left and right, regardless, possibly incriminating those who didn't do anything wrong.

But really, idiots.

I wonder if SK managed to fix your very dangerous find?

If OOO fixes it, can you tell

If OOO fixes it, can you tell us what it is?! :D

They can't have fixed it

They can't have fixed it without patching the game, and unless they tell me either directly or through some public announcement that the problem is fixed I won't say anything, least the mods hunt us all down and silence us in our sleep :s

I'd have to purposefully try tampering with the game again with the next patch to see if I can still use the exploit. Kind of a shame though cause I really could have done some neat stuff if it weren't for the fact it could easily be used for cheating as well by others once they figured it out as well, its like atomic energy kind of, you can either power a city or blow it up using it.

There are punishments for frivolous reports, though. Also, I think there'd have to be some criteria that have to go into such a report other than just one's word.

I dunno, OOO/devs probably have this idea better thought out, if at all.
