OK this may be a dumb question, but I've never done it & I can't find an answer in the wiki.

If I am in a party and elect to "Go Solo" either at or right before a Boss fight, will it effect the number of tokens I will receive from said boss?

I would hate to run T3 from start to finish, split solo, and only get 1 token out of the dive. Not that I plan on ditching a party right at the final fight (could be a real jerk move depending on the circumstance), I would just like to know what would happen. Does the game treat it the same way as if you just joined from that depth? or do you get credit for your initial start point regardless of the number of splits you make?

To confirm, if you Solo off

To confirm, if you Solo off from a group at any time heading to a boss, it gives you the amount of tokens as if you didn't. This works not only from the floor before the boss fight, but even on the same floor as the boss fight itself.

the # of tokens you get is the # of levels you completed in that stratum.

@Varja Not quite. You get fewer tokens the closer to the boss you join in the party, plus a random extra token sometimes. The maximum base number of tokens you get is 3, for a max of 4 if you luck out and get the extra token.

You don't get 5 tokens for doing FSC from basil, for example.
