i think it would be better to make it as a piercing sword or a flourish line sword. More people are willing to purchase. Scissors dealt pierce damage . I think the name of it sword suggested itself . Just my idea. What do you guys think ?

Makes sense to me but its already done. They probably chose the Leviathan because of the familiarity of the weapon and the popularity. Maybe they have ideas for more weapon ideas like this, Final Flourish included. Scissorblades may just be the testing area for these new deatured auctions.

Whatever sword it is, as long as it behaves exactly like an existing one, I'm all good. I think scissors should be a slow sword since it's so clunky and unwieldly.

Stab vs Slash
Scissors are more of a slashing type blade. If you have wielded a Rapier or Sabre, you will quickly realize that there is no sharp edge, there is only the tip. Historically, the Rapier was invented to pierce the gaps in Chainmail armor. It was not meant to slice apart the Chainmail armor, which is what Claymores tried (yet failed) to do. Scissors have an actually bladed edge, which is why they are used for cutting, not stabbing. A Stylus would be a Rapier type weapon, but a pair of massive Scissors are a slashing type weapon.

The Scissors are made out of Leviathan Blades. Having them do piercing damage would be silly.

@Nubskills: The OP kindaa has a point, though..scissors aren't exactly as blunt as a Levi. But, what's done is done..
Still got no idea why anyone, even if they had 10 million crowns, would buy Scissors...especially when there's no Bechamel set or anything.
