Yeah. I'm getting to that point where I REALLY want to go down that lair to craft some snarby items and I have lots of keys... I used the first in a party of two to go down and quickly found out that these lairs are designed for parties of four. There's no getting around this.

My Weapons that I had used on that first run:

BTB Level 10
DA Level 10
Spike Shower Level 10
Shiver Level 10

The spike shower wasn't powerful enough to interrupt wolver attacks so I've decided after that failure to switch it out for my Level 10 Polaris... especially since those damn howlitzers are annoying to try and get with swords... especially when I'm being swarmed by Kats, wolvers, and zombies. Lesson learned there. I'll let someone else have a DBB Beast VH to take care of the wolvers and interrupt them... Because I was running shiver and spike I had elite bomb focus modules for CTR. Bad choice. It REALLY killed me in attack speed with my swords, which is what I needed the most.

Defensively I was running okay, though my UV's for my Skolver set should have been a little better. If I had piercing max then those hits from wolvers would probably have been a lot less painful... or maybe I should have been trying for Poison max. Those would help me out for when I get hit because a 10 second poison is just too much.

For shield I was running with Barbarous thorn shield, but I have seen a lot of videos on youtube with people running Dread skelly. Is it because of the poison resist and shadow resist? I understand because there are a LOT of kats and zombies, meaning that shield would be top notch for this kind of thing!

I'm primarily a swordsman, but can run shiver for support... or maybe I should give up the shiver and let a demo in the group run that? It might be beneficial for me to have a different sword or something to exploit more monster weaknesses. Glacuis could help the shiver out with crowd control and such and it seems that there are a lot of things where elemental damage will be insanely helpful... that and two hits before shield cancelling seems like a very good helping hand!

Anyway... Thanks for any help given if possible.

I've ran all the lairs and my

I've ran all the lairs and my personal setup for UGWW is Snarb (or Skolver), Crest of Almire/Dread Skelly Shield, DA, FF/BTB, Shivermist, Peacemaker, two ASI trinkets.

This setup is pretty solid. You could replace AP with polaris but whatever you do don't shoot near wolvers with its slow bullets. Your team will not like it.

Well the good thing is I've

Well the good thing is I've got all of that, save for the crest of Almire. Just gotta get the equipment I do have to level 10, then. Thanks a bunch.
Any tips in fighting the monsters? Would it be good to run through Tier 2 beforehand to start off with a Vitapod 10/12?

I would highly recommend

I would highly recommend running the depths before the lair to stock up on pills/vitas. The first platform room in UGWW is probably the hardest because nobody has pills/vitas. For playstyle tips, turtle whenever Snarb goes up/down and moves to block any attacks coming your way. Shiver whenever new waves spawn but never, and I repeat never, spam shiver. Pay attention to your surroundings to not get mobbed in corners.

There is my biggest problem:

There is my biggest problem: I don't pay attention enough. I normally am paying attention to just what's next to me. I need to check my surroundings more often... I'll make sure to let a support demo know that if we bring him along, but we'll make sure he also has a FF/BTB as well.
