And not everyone has Spiral-Spy
Shades of Purple and shades of Green seem to be giving people the most trouble.
Lavender is for some reason in the AH instead of available through Vatel.
I'm a bit surprised that Crimson looks REALLY pink though,
and Indigo is baffling and at certain conditions it's hard to tell from Blue.

Yeees, I wish this existed before I piked Violet. I sorta like the look of purple a bit better, but I don't want to spend another 50k. Once all the colours are done, we should get it into the wiki (possibly on the Personal Colours page?).

Update!
Added a comparison image for Reds, Oranges and Yellows.
It's bigger than the others because it occurred to me that Magenta should be considered a "comparison" color because it's the default color setting for Spiral-Spy.
Should probably have included Chartreuse at the end so it "segues" properly into the Greens, though.
EDIT: Blues are done! Used "Viridian" as the starting point since someone said it looked like Cyan, and Indigo is the last color to confuse you silly.

While the effort is much appreciated Mej, Vatel still needs a preview option so people can see how the colors look on their current ensemble, not just proto :P

how to use spiral spy
i assume you are getting it opened no problem? just can't play dress up.
Go to helmet section.
Click the Clear button.
click the drop down menu
click gear
click helmets
click jelly
then it'll equip him to a jelly helm. There will be another (different) drop down bar, there you can choose rock, jelly, royal..etc.. there will also be a spot to choose your personal color. if you wish to change helms, click clear and start over.
same for armors, shields, and weapons. Clear--->gear------>what you want (armor, shield, weapon)--> then browse around. some stuff is kinda hard to find. but it all seems to be there.
Its up to you to put stuff int he right spots. for instance, you can put a halo on armor front accessories...i suspect you can do some odd stuff here, but i was content to just make a efw costumes to preview without going all creative on it, or trying to break the system, lol.
Sometimes i get the folders juggled around and can no long find the gear i am looking for, or how to get back to the starting selections,... :/ i just close out and reopen, b/c i am computer illiterate.
no idea about adding backgrounds and such. i have just used it for the bare minimum of seeing how stuff looks (like prismatic accessories on certain costumes) before i buy stuff, or bid on featured auctions before they added preview function.

Adding an actual preview option would be the best thing, but until then, you at least get to know what the colors actually look like on a real knight, and you can see the differences between the colors easier
