Well, I've been thinking about the gear I should get for UGW. And until recently, I thought that it was pure Wolvers. So that's my straight-foward plan of Skolver+Barbarous out the metaphorical window.
Well, my current Armour is:
Vog Cap - Stun: Low
Vog Coat - Freeze: Med
Barbarous Thorn Shield
CTR Med Trinket
I'm also getting a SDI Med Trinket.
The Weapons I currently have and were planning to take, were:
Dark Thorn Blade - ASI: Low
Lightning Capacitor/ Freezing Atomizer (depending on what the team takes)
and 2 more slots for whatever, didn't decide.
But, since it's all Shadow Damage, Undead, Wolvers and the odd Construct, this is what I was thinking of:
-cap-
Radiant Silvermail
Barbarous Thorn Shield / Crest of Almire
Barbarous Thorn Blade - ASI: Low
Divine Avenger / Glacius - Undead: Med
CTR: Med Trinket / ASI Med
ASI: Med / SDI: Med Trinket
Shivermist / Voltaic (again, depending on team)
and this would leave me a slot, which would probably be the Polaris. Maybe Argent Peacemaker, but most likely Polaris.
For the cap, the most logical option would be Skolver? Since I already have the recipes until Ash Tail, and am in possession of a Skolver Cap Recipe. If I did get Skolver, I could take it into the Ice Queen's Lair too, if I found myself going there.
Radiant Silvermail covers Shadow, Piercing and Poison resistances, so I'm pretty much convinced this would be a pretty good choice, unless it wont be necessary?
Shields, I'm not to sure about. If I do get Skolver, and the SDI Trinket, I'll probably Take CoA, rather than BTS. But I don't know how much of a problem the Beasts are in there. Otherwise I'll take the ASI: Med Trinket + BTS.
As for weapons, BTB covers the Beasts. DA/Glacius covers the Undead + Constructs. Bombs cover Crowd Control, and Polaris/Argent Peacemaker as a backup, just in case.
Is there anything I've missed, and is this a good plan for UGW? I really don't want to mess up my first trip.

Ideal set imo is Dragon Scale Helm, Radiant Silvermail, BTS, BTB(or flam), DA, Polaris, DMG Trinket(s).
Then again, even with the best UVs and everything the best and the most amazing, nothing will save you from dying over and over if you're just not good.
I've done a snarby without revives with a party which had a 4* dusker guy from my guild - and then I've done a snarby with all-5* noobs who had to revive for 80 by the end.
It's all in how you use your gear in PVE. UVs are mostly irrelevant.
