I always feel my best battles (or runs) are made with the best possible party. Playing with good players makes me better, especially in situations that need a group effort and teamwork (taking down trojans come to mind, not because they're hard to solo but it's different in a group). Knowing someone always has your back is also good, which of course works both ways. A downside to the latter is that it's easy to keep this sense of security in your next party, which might not be as good as the last.

My best battle was in Candlestick Keep. I was using my alternate account, which was still 1* (my primary is 4-5*). I joined my 3* friend, who was doing a Tier 2 run in Candlestick Keep. He still hadn't learned how to avoid taking damage, but I had some limited knowledge of the subject. Even when he would go down, I would keep fighting, dodging, weaving, hitting, and running to kill the swarms of kats and zombies surrounding us. I knew how to kill the gunpuppies efficiently without killing myself in the process, while my friend sometimes died trying. I effectively avoided the massive ghost spookats. When we reached the end of the level, he complimented me and told me I was the best Tier 1 player he'd ever known. That was definitely one of my best battles.

@Pyrogenesis, do you play EV: Nova, per chance? Because your username is the name of a fictional company in that game called Pyrogenesis Skymining, and they mine the gas from Jupiter. I only go to their station for the outfits, if at all. :P

I had lots of mist I needed to use up, so I join my tier3 friend who's in tier2
I said I had lots of mist to use up so we go in a danger room
Out of no where spawns tier3 machines and the last time I fought tier3 in tier2 I was at the mercy of ten gun puppies
My friend died the first five seconds, but I ran for the outside section away from the spawned monsters
And I kill them eventually with only one death
My friend asked for a revive, but I said in the NICEST way possible "You'd only get in my way, sorry :/"
And the second spawn I died twice cause I kept pausing to type and it cost me
The third I ignored him and only died once when two mechs spawned next to me
I revive him we get prizes happy ending, blah, blah blah, blah, blah
It was a good use of 85 energy :)
