Howdy knightz,

Well being that shadow key ur high whats a better way to obtain them you say?

Well first of all this may not be a great idea to everyone but its somthing iv been doing which has allowed me not to use my ce as much.
Keys r currently 1800ce right?

If u buy keys at auction which usaully averages around 80 to 90k, you may come out better!

Lets take a look at it:

Lets say at auction, key is 84k.

1. At trade, 100ce gets you like 6500
(6,500X12=84,500) Look instead of wasting 1800 ce to obtain a shadow key you have only used 1200ce, a savings of 600ce :)
2. It would be nicer if you could get others to chip in on a key this way, it would help save all 4 players there ce.

Hope this helps!!!

Timeclock,
Clocking out!

LEt me explain

When you buy from Boost he will take from your mist pool before impacting your CE pool. so, you can get a 100 CE "discount" when buying from Boost.

OOO discounted these shadow keys a couple of times, most recently to 1350 CE (iirc).

1350 CE minus 100 mist = 1250 CE.

This is why you can obtain these keys for around the price you can on the AH. You are buying keys that were purchased at prices reduced for limited times only.

I have 2 such keys that I picked up when the prices were discounted. I plan to use mine for shadow runs in the future, however.

All this is to say, that the AH isn't some magical place, it's just a place to pick up keys from folks who bought them well below Boost's current prices. You are correct that it would be dumb to not take the cheaper deal from these people over paying Boost for a shiny new one (while supplies last).

I'm kind of amused at this thread, since it boils down to "let me show you how to calculate CE costs in crowns". It's...kind of intuitive, isn't it? Or at least for people who know how to divide (first graders).

Yes, AH prices are much better than Boost prices ATM, but that may change once those keys are brought and used, depending on if they have sales in the future--I'm thinking there's probably going to be a Christmas key sale.
