i keep owning games and i lose them cuz im playing alone. Being with 3 total nubs against 4 ok to good players.
gonna keep putting print screens to see if it does something.

So...what would be your suggestion? What can be done to make this less frustrating for you? Random teams is just that, absolutely random. If you really want to, maybe try a LD-focused guild and form your own teams that way.

Its fair...but what I don't like is when I lag during Lockdown. -_- Not that is OOO's fault.

they could be sorted by gear, previous games, lockdown rank, wins/losses, i dunno theres so many stuff, now completely random is dumb. 90% of the games are teams totally unfair, where i can sit in the base and i win for sure. and other games no matter how hard u try it will be impossible cuz u in bad team.
It sucks when i know the outcome of the game b4 it starts by knowing who are the good players.

Now if there's a good distribuition than that wouldn't apply

Random team is random. You encounter players (and sometimes whole teams) who are lucky they know what end of the sword to hold, and other times people that turn the pvp arena into a downright killing field.

Embrace the chaos, it is what random teams is all about. :D

It might help if there was a way to have full 5* geared players (tier3 elite?), its annoying to have teammates with wolver/dusker in tier3 LD because they have an Avenger sword. That doesn't guarantee they are better, but at least won't get kill by 1 hit from Gran Faust.

Calm down, mate

Heck, I had a 20K+ damage game that I lost.
Damage won't make a difference if you and your team can't hold points effectively. Clever players can run around the enemy and capture tons of points without dealing much damage. Their damage score will be pathetic, but they'll have lots of captures.

Wrong. Capture>Defend.

If you can't defend a base, then you can recapture it. If you can't capture a base period, then you can't defend it.

Also, it's just a game. People don't want to ear people saying "2! go to 2 u noob! come on, I dont want 2 lose! if u dont cap that base then we lose!! Knight 2: Why can't you capture the base? Knight 1: becuz im defending 1 u noob, great, now we lose becuz of u. noob"

Not trying to pic on you in specific, but every single match I've played with you on my team, you always go saying "capture 3 and 2 u noob!" and stuff like that. Every.

It's just a game... Not a matter of life and death... I hope. o.o People can't go cap other bases and such when they are fighting or dead. I have won many games when we lost one player or more. If you want to cap faster and stuff, stop defending. You defend most of the time anyway, even with striker and recon by killing someone trying to take over a base of yours.

Now please, stop complaining and deal with it.

defend is better than capture, cuz if u capture and dont defend u just trading points. either u stay winning or u keep losing. and while u defending u gainning points cuz the base still yours, and they using time trying to capture it. if u capturing and they defending its the other way around, u losing time capturing, and they winning points cuz the base belong to them. U said u can just re capture it, wow thats valid for both ways.

Anyway, i just wish there some criteria in match up.

It's kind of pointless to argue about which is more important. They're all needed to effectively win a game and all have different benefits.

If a team isolates captures or defends, their team will have a lower chance of winning. Damage also serves its own purpose by slowing the other team down.

If i get stuck in unbalanced

If i get stuck in unbalanced teams, and im on the bad team, I either

A: Play, but don't "try" as hard
B: Keep playing

And collect my token at the end
The stupid choice is this

C: Ragequit

and DO NOT collect a token at the end. Do not pass "GO!". Do not collect 200cr. Do not win.

That is why Choice A and B is better. 1 token even if you lose. Buy a mod calibrator and sell it to a vendor or AH. ????????? Profit.
Because losing = paying 200cr for a token. Fair tradeoff.

But they need a team balancer, at least after 1 match in the least. one that happens mid game is NOT good. Cus then you get sent to the losing team 5 seconds before the end.

Stats =/= Skill

While it sucks to be on teams that aren't even remotely close to balance, it happens. Frequently. Oh well, it's just a game. I do feel bad for people who constantly get stuck with players who cannot match up with their opponents, but these instances are not frequent.

Also, keep in mind these stats are really not good indicators of skill in any sense. Win/loss is the closest one can get to a skill indication. For instance:

Damage - Anyone can run striker/skolver/toothpick and score high damage numbers. Are they capturing and defending points? Are they taking out targets like the straggler headed for health or the guardian shielding a point? You could only care for damage and score really high, thus appearing to be 'really good' while in fact you are essentially giving your team one less player for the objective, both offensively and defensively. There is a skill in this, and having a 'team slayer' or two can help if used effectively and smartly, but this stat is not even close to an indication of skill. That guardian with the shiver was probably more helpful than that striker with a barb.

Captures - Capturing is the goal of the game right? So people with large capture counts did a lot for the team right? Yes and no. Obviously capturing contributes to winning, but blind rushes on the opposing team's back cap are usually really temporary captures and result in death over and over. People who play like this don't actually score many points for the team, as they rarely participate in defensive action or strategic captures that last, but they get high capture numbers in the stats.

Defends - Keeping a point under your control is a very big part of winning the game. However, the way defends are counted leaves the point for defending to be very arbitrary. If I'm not mistaken, a defend is given when a player kills an opponent on a point they are attempting to capture. Off the point, no point. In many instances, a team will simply drive off the attacker from the point and force a retreat. In essence, the same thing, but this is not tracked. As such, people with less defends may actually have staved off more attackers.

So yeah, these stats are pretty arbitrary. Don't complain about teammates because they don't have 5k damage or more, or because they only have 3 captures, because the stats are not good indicators of how good your teammates are.

That being said, I hope you get matched up with your ideal teammates in the future, but keep this in mind before blaming teammates...

i know all that. even if the score panel doesnt show "true skill" (wich is not true 99% times). I did those games and noticed my team had severe handicaps while theirs hadnt any. the panel is just to show. I'm sure that if u played ld u get stuck many times in bad teams. And what i complain is that being the best player sometimes in a game by fair i cant win, cuz im with 3 complete nubs.

Btw if u look up all the best players they always do alot of damage, and all nubs do low damage. (there can be good players that did low damage <- very rare)

I'm tier 2, and teams usually

I'm tier 2, and teams usually turn out very unbalanced. I once faced a team of 4 duskers and various people (6 per team) and my team had me (2* :( a proto nub, a wolver, 2 cobalts, and 1 magic hood person. We lost.

Actually, a team-autobalancer midgame (like tf2) would be pretty useful imo.

Then stuff like this wouldn't happen...
