The Rules and Regs
from Rhipdclxvi , GM, Order of Venus
Our Mission Statement In a Nutshell
We are a diverse team of mature and highly skilled T3 players specializing in Fire Storm Citadel and Lockdown. Our mission is to maintain our community’s high standards in these fields as well as help friends and new comers grow in both skill and in character. We encourage anyone to take part with us in a fun and friendly environment, and to put our game-faces on in times where competitiveness is called for.

What makes us Unique
• Rewards System : As the saying goes, good deeds come with even greater rewards. Because we appreciate our fellow members’ awesome efforts and achievements, we don’t think it’s practically enough to just give them free cookies or a warm hug. In fact, they should deserve Actual Rewards (i.e. CE, gear, etc) that comes with their free cookies to do with as they please! That way, they can be better equipped to do even more awesome feats! Promotions in this guild are the same way. We truly believe that if you have done wonderful things to deserve the Rank you carry, you therefore deserve equally wonderful things to buy stuff, beat down monsters or make yourself pretty with.
• Weekly Guild Events : Unlike other guilds that gratuitously call themselves “active” just by having sheer number, we pride ourselves in being active in unique ways. Not only do we regularly host Vanaduke / Shadow Lair runs and Lockdown matches, we hold fun guild events throughout the week and especially on weekends. Anyone up for a good challenge can participate in contests and win handsome prizes (up to 2000 CE in weekly prizes) or perhaps randomly win some goodies from prize drawings just by being online! Some of our popular events include time attack runs through T2 Boss gates or Solo time attack Vana runs. (Theres even a mini-event involving a Sealed Sword charge attack and winning free recipes or accessories...but that's something you'd learn more about later on). And because we think every guild should be a Democracy, we warmly welcome any ideas you might have for fun events in the future :)
• Diversity : Our member base is made up of people from all over the world. Whether you speak Chinese, Italian or German, you will be sure to meet and get along with someone from across the globe that can share a fresh new view or language you’ve never heard or thought of before! And since our members are spread all over the place through different Time Zones, you can be sure to find players to go on runs with no matter what time you log in!

. Rank Structure and Minimum Requirements
• Recruit: Players who wish to be part of the Order of Venus and who have met the minimum guild entry requirements. These players will be observed by members of the guild for an approximate period of 2 weeks and will be evaluated based on how active they are, their contribution to the guild, their good character and their maturity level.
Minimum Requirements: Able to get on and assist FSC parties with little trouble. Able to join a guild Lockdown team when needed as well as have decent Lockdown scores in captures, defends, and damage.
• Member: Recruits who have either bribed the Guild Master with a warm batch of chocolate chip cookies to become Members, OR have displayed an exceptional level of activeness, contribution and maturity are worthy to hold the prestigious tag of the Order of Venus. These players are deemed by the guild as being trustworthy and skilled enough to be fully part of our community.
Minimum Requirements: Good experience in FSC runs. Fully mastered all T2 Bosses. Good experience in T2/T3 Lockdown.
• Veteran/Officer: The guilds most loyal and trusted members. These respected members are the ones often counted on and looked up to by their peers. They have mastered the fine arts of farming Vanaduke blindfolded, scaring Lockdown opponent while wearing Proto gear, staying loyal to and not pissing-off the guild, or mentoring other players to get to their own level. Officers are Veterans tasked with specific responsibilities at the Guild Master’s discretion. These Veterans are in charge of running events, recruiting, or assassinating players who steals the Guild Master’s cookies. Officer positions are entirely need-based and are filled only when the Guild Master needs the help of a responsible Veteran to recruit more PvP/PvE players, manage the guild in the absence of the Guild Master, or run guild events when the Guild Master is too lazy to.
Minimum Requirements: Complete Mastery of FSC and all lower Tiers. Exceptionally Skilled in Lockdown. Highly Mature and Responsible.

Promotions
Because individual effort and achievement are never taken for granted in our community, Ranks in our guild are EARNED and NOT GIVEN easily. Rank is a reflection of a member’s loyalty, trustworthiness, and overall contribution to the guild. Anyone wishing to be promoted must be able to show through actions (not words) why she/he deserves the next Rank. They are evaluated by peers and the Guild Master based on a combination of factors: A.M.I.C.A.
• Activeness : How often a member plays, participates in guild events, and go on runs with fellow guild members.
• Maturity : This is a mature guild. And although we do not have a specific age limit, players who ACT like children are NOT tolerated. We should not have to explain to you what constitutes childish behavior, but rule of thumb is that if what you say or do annoys people (other than by owning them), then chances are you’re acting like a kid. We will not babysit those with the mentality of an 8 year old, and will gladly usher them to another like-minded guild.
• Improvement : Whether in Skill or Gear, everyone is highly encouraged to get better. The progress they make in upgrading their gear, and the personal effort they put into becoming a better overall player is just as important as helping others get better. The individual makes up the community, and as such, bettering oneself benefits the community as a whole.
• Contribution : How often a member helps our community in their own way. This could mean giving helpful tips and advice to less-experienced players, helping guild mates get the right gear or recipes, submitting thoughtful posts in the guild forums, or perhaps suggesting wonderful ideas to make the guild more enjoyable.
• Achievement : What a member has done or continues to do to stand out from the crowd. Whether from killing Vanaduke with no deaths or from consistently doing well in Lockdown matches, the things a member does that make others go “WOW” won’t be ignored.

. Guild Do’s and Don’ts
.
Do :
• “Be Excellent to Each Other”. Appreciate other players for something they do well and encourage other players to get better with you.
• Give, don’t always take. Whether it’s some spare moolah or a helping hand in runs, give something to make another player’s day.
• Be a role model. There are many young players out there, with malleable minds. Bad actions from you in front of them will almost surely be imitated one way or another.
• Have Sportsmanship. Congratulate those who’ve worked their way to victory, and encourage those who you’ve beaten to improve.
.
.
Don’t :
• Mock or insult other players or their beliefs within or outside the guild.
• Beg others for free stuff or money.
• Mock or insult other guilds.
• Make a habit of swearing or make constant references to mature substances. Be aware that many underage players enjoy this game too.
• Insult a player’s skill just because that player is lesser-skilled. Likewise, do not accuse a player of cheating or hacking just because that player has more skill than you. No serious trash-talking.
