1: Heat
We need a better way of using heat, for example, maybe choosing what it goes to instead of everything. As heat is right now its really bland and just... useless once you upgrade your stuff
I dont know what to do with it, but do SOMETHING

2:4th weapon type(unlikely)
We have 4 weapons slots so this may be possible
Rifles: Basically they shoot a line(fast bullet that just appears as a line) that goes through enemies. They fire slow and most reload after 2 shots(about troika fire speed) It could be in a laser variant or a bullet variant. I doubt this will enter the game, but its just a small suggestion that I thought would be interesting.

3:Flourish changes
I was thinking about this, and even though it probably wont happen, what if the four flourish types each did a different type of damage? Snarble-Shadow Flourish-Normal Flamberge-Elemental Rigadoon-Piercing. Just an idea. Also I feel it would make flourishes much more useful for clockworks instead of LD exclusive almost. Plus I also feel flourishes should get a nerf while playing pvp.

Feedback(positive preffered)

And I doubt much will change, but I just thought of these and wanted to share them

Cursing in German, way to

Cursing in German, way to take criticism.

1: I agree with needin' more things to do with heat. Outside of levelin' gear, heat has no real use.

2: Sounds like a deviation from guns. Not much of a new weapon type, more of a sub-type from guns.

3: Now that'd just be silly. The flourish-esque weapons are MEANT to be piercin' type weapons. The most ya can do is give them split piercing/otherattack type, but we already KNOW how gimped those are.

@Alpha

It wasn't critiscism if all they say is no

1. :D

2. I would consider it something different, because different fire style+Guns aren't guns, theyre called handguns

3. Probably, but i still agree that they need a pvp nerf

1. Heat is useless outside of levelling gear because that's what it's for. I'd hypothesise that one reason Heat continues to accrue after gear's been finished is as an incentive for players to craft new gear for levelling. This is kind of akin to complaining that XP in traditional RPGs becomes useless when you've maxed all your skills.

2. No, Alphastevo's right - you're describing a variant firearm, not a new weapon class. The three current classes have clearly delineated functions - melee, ranged, and AoE attacks. Rifles and handguns are different things in the real world, but as far as SK's mechanics are concerned, they're both ranged weapons. I'm not saying there's not room for something like this in the game, but it's not a new class as such.

3. The problem with Piercing weapons in PvP is that Piercing-resist armour seems relatively uncommon; it's the same problem with players using the DA all the time to capitalise on players' lack of Elemental defence. There are ways of dealing with the things, but they involve learning how to evade and counter their attack pattern, and on having additional gear on hand if an enemy force is fielding a lot of them. As making varied arsenals extremely desirable for players increases Three Rings' CE income in the long term, I doubt you'll see this.

@Effrul The problem with

@Effrul The problem with piercing weapons in lockdown is that you can only, at best, get half protection from them.

Consider taking a hit from a DA: half elemental, half normal. Wear an elemental armor set: get protected from both elemental and normal. Wear some other armor set: get protected from the normal, eat the elemental.

Compare with taking a hit from a BTB: all piercing. Wear a piercing armor set: get half protection from piercing, eat the other half. Wear some other armor set: get protected from nothing, eat the entire hit.

1. I suggested A spare heat tank a long time ago along some other suggestions and only got 1 appraisal out of 2 posters. it would be used when you use maxed out equips in the clock works and the players would use it later on armor they couldn't use, with this weapon slots are more optional and heat is used more often without being used outside of leveling, by what mean to obtain it I haven't the slightest but I find the idea useful. Does this help your cause at all?

2.Effrul's post+ I like the concept since I'm a proud gunslinger and I would like to tinker with such a weapon

3.Its sounds nice and its is OP in PvP but if your Idea is implemented It bare effects me because I'm not a very avid PvPlayer and is sounds a bit more fitting but wouldn't they have to change snarby armor if they do this as well? which some player would not like

Fair point - hadn't thought of that. But perhaps the fix would be to introduce some defensive gear to counteract this effect, rather than affecting the weapons themselves directly? Personally I always welcome more gear variety.

3. Flourish rips apart

3. Flourish rips apart enemies that are weak to piercing, if this were to be done, it'd tear apart through elemental and shadow enemies too if you had three sword slots.

flourish in pvp

well the problem is why pvp it would have to be an all around nerf but why because it's a great sword for pvp thats not why it should be nerfed

@Nicoya-Kitty, I could have

@Nicoya-Kitty, I could have sworn armor was calculated as a % (otherwise guns wouldnt be able to do any damage in lockdown), so having a 5 bars of peirce defence will provide the same protection from a BtB/FF as having 5 bars of normal and 5 bars of shadowl would against a GF or Achereon

@Frostythepyro Even assuming

@Frostythepyro Even assuming that's true, anyone without pierce-resist armor takes full damage from a pierce sword hit, while only people who wear full dragon scale or something will take full damage from a GF or Acheron since all other swords do at least split normal, and pretty much every armor set defends against normal. It's basically impossible to do full damage against someone using an elemental sword, unless they were wearing radiant silvermail and a proto helmet.
