TL;DR
Do I sell or use my Brandish with high ASI?

I decided to give Ragecrafting a go the other day.. Crafted about 15-16 Brandishes with no luck. Today, I thought what the heck. I'll spend my ME on a few crafts. So, I crafted 2 with no luck.. Screw it, I thought. I'll do a third.

Sure enough I crafted my new Brandish with a High ASI.

Now.. The question is - Do I craft a Combuster with it and use it.. Or do I sell it off for CE?

I'm in no real need for CE. I've got enough to get by on and an elevator pass... I'm thinking I should use it? It's hard for me though because I don't know how much of a difference it actually makes. If it's not noticeable I wouldn't care for it simply because I'm not a hardcore player :P

What do you guys think?

I'd wait until someone posts about how useful it is but it sounds like
you don't need the money/ce so I would keep it.

Or.....You could trade it to me for my medium damage vs gremlin....?

Use it !

You dont know how many rolls it would take to get it again. If you decide at some point to sell it, the hundreds of thousands of crowns you get will be very nice.

I would keep it, and make it into a Nightblade. It sounds like a near perfect PvP weapon.(If you're into that sort of thing. :P)

I'm pretty sure the speed will be noticeable.

Sell

UV High is a +3 bonus, which reduces the time it takes to attack by about 22%. Using it with a swiftstrike or Vog set would be better, otherwise the bonus isn't quite enough to justify the 2k CE or so it would fetch on auction. I own a leviathan ASI high.

Not worth much, but is good

Not worth much, but is good for personal use. Certainly better than a stock brandish. Oh, either upgrade that to acheron for royal jelly palace or to voltedge for tier 3. Imo, asi is the second (or arguably best) uv you can get on a brandish. First is probably CTR, because the charges are great tactical weapons, probably as good as the calibur line charge, and right behind the unbeatable Divine Avenger charge.

Etendue I disagree when you

Etendue I disagree when you say it's not worth much.. I've got it price checked at 3k CE. (2-3 People said 2k+ and one guy told me he sold an identical 2weeks ago for 3k)

It's quite a lot of money to be frank.. =) (I guess it depends on what you consider a lot.. However, I only have 2-3k CE atm, so it'd pretty much double my money if I sold it vs keeping it.)

What makes voltedge good for T3, I haven't ventured there yet. I was thinking about going with Combuster as I already have a Silent NightBlade and I enjoy the chance of fire... =)

As for PVP - I haven't gotten into it yet but I intend on doing so in the future. I'd like to fully explore the PVE features of this game first, however. :)

Fire is pure damage, and not

Fire is pure damage, and not so useful in Firestorm Citadel (for some reason ^.~).

Shock interrupts attacks, stacks with your allies' effects, and is useful in Firestorm Citadel (this is where you'll be spending most of your tier 3 time). Freeze is only really great for solo runs, because it'll be broken very, very fast. Also, I time the shock spasms with monsters so that they have a very high chance of spasm-ing when I walk past them. This allows me to do stuff that would normally be impossible to do (aka, cutting very close to a group of slag walkers).

And...yes. 3k CE is not *that* much. It's nice to have though.

I've got a Blazebrand with High ASI.

Use it, bro. It's awesome against Gun Pups, interrupting their Attacks a lot. It's also useful against Oilers, since I can't set them on Fire without Charging. Same thing with Fire-Type Construct & Undead. CTR would be Great, but I don't want to take a Chance with Punch again. High ASI is good enough for me.

Personally I would take it Shadow if it were me. As already posted it is nice for PvP, but I really like ASI on my Silent Nightblade for taking out Gremlins and Jellies. I value CTR more for the status inflicting brandishes & love using my Silent Nightblade with Very High or Maximum ASI (I get there through gear depending on my loadout). I currently use a Voltedge with UV CTR Med that I like, because heat & my weapon module bring that to Max. My Silent Nightblade has UV Construct Med (happy accident) which is nice, but if I craft a brandish with Med or better ASI it'll get replaced in a heartbeat.
