When was the last time a heart trinket dropped?

So I know that love puppies are rare, and heart trinkets are rare stacked on top of rare, but it occurred to me that (as far as I've heard, at least) love puppies are the only monster that has a chance to drop a piece of equipment, and being a programmer myself I know that these sorts of one-off things with rare activations have a tendency to "silently fall into disrepair" as changes and updates happen elsewhere in the codebase.

Thus, I'm wondering if anyone can report when they last heard of a heart trinket dropping from a love puppy.

Not that I don't trust Nick to keep the code in tip-top shape...

They absolutely still drop

They absolutely still drop from Love Puppies, though as that's not the most ideal way to distribute a fairly handy trinket, a future update will have Heart Pendants and their upgrades available via another means. However, True Love Lockets will remain exclusively the property of a Love Puppy's BFF.

Yes, the only player I've seen equipped with 2 True Love Lockets is a player named Levis. He's the leader of the guild Edwin. Probably one of the few players in this game with equal financial power as Rubyeclipse, if not more.

You may become a Love Puppy's

You may become a Love Puppy's BFF by allowing it to kiss you. They are actually madly in love with knights and do not care if they get ripped apart by their love's weapons. That is actually the greatest honor one can bestow upon a Love Puppy. It explodes their hearts with joy allowing them to create certain Trinkets (much like how a clam makes a pearl), one of the few things it knows will make its lover happy.

I've seen more than 10 love puppies (maybe averaging 1 per week) but not one of them dropped anything :(

I met 27 times love puppy and it never drops trinket.
This's absolutely unfair. Meet them so rare and drop chance even rare, so we got 0.00001% to drop that trinket from puppy.

It's not unfair, it's unlucky. If everyone had heart trinkets, then where would their value be? It would be basically pointless, and not give you an advantage, especially in LD where it makes a MASSIVE difference. If everyone had them, then it would become a known quantity. I have never even seen a love puppy at ALL Raw, so count yourself lucky you've even gotten to see one. As of yet, in my maybe 3 months playing this game, I have had a 0% chance of having a heart trinket drop for me. But that's ok! Maybe one day....

Hmmm

I've been seeing them a lot lately. I've seen 4 of them within a 5 day period. But yeah, no trinket so far. It's rare to find a Love Puppy, but even rarer for it to drop a trinket. What's even worse is that if it does drop a trinket, there is a 1/4 chance (if you are in a party of 4), 1/3 chance (if in a party of 3), and a 50/50 chance (if it's you and another) of you getting that trinket.

Why not at least make them +7?

That's an awesome number by itself, and some of your wealthiest customers (Levis, Ruby, Mbcscp, etc) will still feel acknowledged in their costly effort to attain true love (perhaps even twice).
