So, I want to know what the best HP Bonus Equip there is assuming that everything is Level 10, both Trinkets Unlocked, and not counting the biggest Vitapod you can find. So here's what I have:
Ancient Plate Helm +8 Health
Ancient Plate Mail +8 Health
Scarlet Shield +2 Health
True Love Locket +6 Health
True Love Locket +6 Health

Total 30 Health
Why limit at 40? Would going beyond that make things too easy? I've always imagined doing a combination like this, but was fearing a limit. Too bad, I guess. Having a vitasuit in tier 1 was so much fun! The slight health bonuses compared in tier 3 don't matter much if there's a cap :(

the debuffs arent annoying at all, neither is the shield, the health bonuses are most useful in t1 tho
Max HP is 35 without vitapods - you forgot the character's initial 5 HP. To max out from there, all you need is a +5 vitapod (found in depths 6 & 7).
If you happen to not yet be the Love Puppy's BFF, your max HP would be 23. To max out from there, you need a +18 vitapod (found in depths 27 & 28).
If you want to bring a better shield, you will only be able to max out your HP if you enter the Shadow Lairs, where the +21 vitapod is dropped.
I'm a bit bored, if you can't tell.
So yeah, you have the best HP possible without pods.
But remember your health cant be more than 40.
Add a Vitapod and the starting basic life of a knight and you'll find that now you have useless extra life bonuses with annoying debuffs with a sub-par shield.
