Do Vanilla Mastercards, Visa Giftcards or any gamecards work when purchasing energy?

I want to buy an elevator pass however I don't have a credit card, I'm wondering if I can go out to the store and buy a giftcard that I can use... Do the Creditcard-giftcards work? Do gamecards work? - and which?

(I know Ultimate Gamecards work, but I don't know how to get an Elevator Pass through Paybycash )

They'll work.

Credit-card gift cards work just fine for purchases in SK. You just use them like a credit card. Any Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Discover should work, and maybe others (are there any others?).

I hope you're right! I'm going to buy a 30$ one (if they have one) to get an Elevator Pass and a Starter Pack :P

Activation fees.

For prepaid credit cards, you can usually choose to load on whatever amount you want. They typically have a $3 to $7 activation fee, though, so to get $30 loaded you'd need to spend $35 or so.
