Frankenzom Mask giveaway - what to do?

I have an extra Frankenzom Mask code from the Twitter event, and I've said that I'm going to give it away. I was going to do a raffle, but I think it's best to let you guys decide. I was thinking a raffle or a contest.
Options 'n stuff:
- 1. Raffle
~ Entry fee? (If so, could a player enter multiple times?)
~ Limited slots or time-based entry?
- 2. Contest
~ Again, entry fee?
~ What kind of contest? (Remaining fair to all!)
~ Length of deadline?
- 3. Other
~ WHAT IS IT?
~ How are you going to keep it fair?
~ How would it work?
Also, when should I be doing it? I was thinking either over the holidays or next month, but I can wait if you want!

Raffle. Players always get bugged by that. Contest is too much and if you seriously want to give away the code, then just raffle it. You don't want there to be a huge mob mad at you for judging, no?
Limit it to the next time you get on forums, and the last number you see when you get on is the final one (don't refresh), and put those numbers in http://www.random.org/lists/ and the winner is the person with the post number. Get on forums (yours) one day, and the next time you log back on your thread, tell everyone the thread ended at (x) number, and you're gonna rafflle.

Isn't OOO against the handing out of codes?
Due t the fact that it is easy to be able to scam someone by making them buy a code off you, I think OOO banned it.
Not that I'm saying you WILL, or CAN, but I think you should take the time to explain what you're going to do via support email to OOO, sating EXACTLY what you plan to do, and asking if they're ok with it.
JUST to be safe.

I've seen people on the General Forums giving away codes via contest (That's how I got a Parrying Blade), so until I see a GM comment on the removal of giving away codes by players or evidence of that, I think this is fine. If they say it's wrong, I'm pretty sure Eurydice would see this thread or the other thread. Before the giving out of Parrying blades thread, I thought it was unacceptable, but the thread contradicted it.

Another idea is selling it via Bazaar and bidding. It happened with PAX codes, so I don't think this is any different. PLEASE AGAIN FIND EVIDENCE THAT THIS IS OKAY. Make sure the player would be online and give you the money IN GAME WHILE YOU TWO ARE ONLINE AND FACE TO FACE, and then hand them the code. You've got your face all over this thread, so we're pretty sure you're honest. The other player would give you the bid money first, so you can depend on them and they know you won't mess up. THIS IS IF YOU HAVE TIME AND ARE WILLING TO SPEND TIME DOING SO. RAFFLING IS MUCH FASTER, BUT LESS PROFITABLE. IF THIS IS LEGAL, IT'S A GO.
Do any ideas between spare times. Like you have a day out, put the thread up before you leave, and when you come back, stop the thread or finish the auction. Watch out though, people who win the raffle may get the money YOU deserve. PAX masks went for more than seven thousand crystal energy, but that was because it was a location event. You can try selling to make sure you get something from it, you know.
I'm pretty sure the code only lasts for a short time. Raffle is faster and satisfactory to clients. Bidding may end up for a while and the code may no longer be valid after the term. If you don't care about where the code goes, Raffle. If the code is a long laster, try auctioning it off in the Bazaar if legal. Raffling seems safer and less complex, but if you want something back AND you have time, try auction. Sorry for this mess...

Yeah, about that. I told you the code didn't expire, but I found that it does--on December 31. I'm deeply sorry about that!
I'd advise against entry fees, by the way. That way lies accounting horror and misunderstandings about scamming.
