What would it take to get into the lockdown loons? I am doing 4-5K damage each round in T2, sometimes more, sometimes less, and I don't even have a dusker coat yet, only the helm. I was just wondering if there are requirements beyond skill in lockdown to get into that guild.

I would ask in game if you

I would ask in game if you run across someone in the guild. Since they dont seem to have a recruitment page they dont likely check this part of the forum.

all u need is that an oficer or guild master of ld loons see u playing good, but im not sure if there are spots open.
u can try lockdown legends they are like the same thing but with a diff. name.
they even were created by the same guy.

Pretty much the above, you'll

Pretty much the above, you'll just need to be lucky and play at the same time as someone who can invite. Same goes for the Lockdown Legends.

I used to be in the Lockdown

I used to be in the Lockdown Loons, 'til I

  1. took a Twisted Snarble Barb to the knee.
  2. realized that they're not really a Lockdown guild anymore.

Or at least, not a competitive one anyways (by admission of the guildmaster as of ~5 dasy ago, through guild chat). Most of the members just do JK and RT runs, and rarely if ever are there any GvG matches. The guys and gals in the clan are nice enough, but mostly the clan's just a badge people wear.

To make a dramatic story rather short, those who wanted competitive LD broke off and formed a separate guild called Lockdown Legends, and the 'Loons were left with those who preferred casual LD or JK/RT running. I don't know what the Legends' recruiting policy is, but I've decided not to pursue either of them anymore.

To answer your original question though, you more than meet the requirements to join. I did 3.5-4K with Dusker/FBBrandish in a couple games where their leader happened to be present, and I was invited then. Pretty much, just play until you run across a high-ranking member. Posting on the forums here definitely didn't hurt your chances, either :P

Lockdown Loons has a lot of

Lockdown Loons has a lot of great and skilled players... they are dedicated Mostly to T2 Lockdown... there are not much T2 guilds that play lockdown, that's why (from my understanding) Lockdown Legends was created, To fight each other... great skills in T2 lockdown comes great skills in T3 afterwards... Lockdown loons is great for T2 Players, recommended Guild!!!

Don't listen to that crap, cause Happiness is much more skilled, and our most skilled player, Kevthebot, joined FROM the Loons, so which would you decide?

Happiness is a friendly group

Happiness is a friendly group with a lot of talented tier 2 lockdown players. Let's respect everyone who gives us a good match, shall we?

Lockdown Aces.

Even though those guilds were disbanded, there's a new t2 LD guild called Lockdown Aces.

It's full of great people who are really good at LD.
