Title says it all.. even the 4 wave is a little much to deal with.. (without a Polaris in T3)

I know you can sort of kite the rockets to explode on each other, but considering SK is not a tanking game, it only takes 2 -3 rockets for Grey Owlite to break.

Would it be easier to just not trigger them like you would a normal wave? What about the ones that are already triggered? Tell me your secrets ;O

hugging the wall to not

hugging the wall to not trigger them all together is the start, after that, it's running in the smallest circle possible around a missile, so it keeps rotating in an even smaller circle, never hitting you, you should manage to kill 1 turret in the time another fires at you, if you triggered more than 2 of them together, you are doing something wrong.

P.S. biggest secret: trigger the puppy waves while you are at any of the TOP corners, rocket puppy aggro radius is pretty small on their side/behind, if they spawn while you are in one of the top corner, best case scenario none of them is active upon spawn.

However, triggerin form the upper corner sucks for normal puppys/polyps/howlitzer, so be mindful of what arena it is.

on my experience so far, rocket puppy can spawn only in :
wrench warfare ( any status)
mech arena ( if fire status or no status)

so in the other arenas you might as well start on the bottom corners, which is best for bullet visibility, I usually start at bottom right corner if the arena isn't one of those

My secrets are : - don't wake

My secrets are :
- don't wake them up as much as possible in the first place. Less rockets = easier. It's not that hard if you know where they spawn and brief your mates.
- when you do wake them, attack interrupt them (I do that with either Polaris or DA, other weapons may work too)
- if you happen to wake too much of them, don't look at your health, don't use your shield and KILL THEM. Your shield would make you slow and will break very fast anyway, you are better off killing them as fast as possible.

I agree with what's been posted

The real question is how do THEY deal with
the one and only, Guardianknight.

Glacius line

Manage the waves carefully so you can be in an optimal position when the puppies spawn (preferably NOT in the center of the room). AVOID WAKING THE GUN PUPPIES. If you do, your only reliable Plan B is the Polaris/Supernova and you'll be pretty much screwed if you don't have one of those guns.

My tactic: Charge the sword, quickly move up behind a single puppy, then freeze it. Not only does that temporarily prevent future attacks, the elemental damage and strong freeze cause massive damage. In addition, the freeze may buy you enough time to repeat the charge.

It doesn't always work out, but for me it's a reliable strategy 99% of the time.

Along with Metagenic's line

Along with Metagenic's line of thinking. If you have two Rocket Puppies firing at you and they are close together, then you can Glacius charge one of them, in the direction of the other, and can hit the other with the explosions and may freeze that one as well.

Besides that, if you do wake up all the puppies, stick near one of the Rocket Puppies so that at least the rockets hurt it as well and maybe they will take most of the damage. If you die, revive and use the precious invincibility frames to go kamikaze on their butts. If your shield breaks, go kamikaze.

They will spawn in Robo

They will spawn in Robo Rampage Arenas but, in my experience you will only get one wave. If the 4 wave is polyps or howlitzers you are in for some fun on the 8 wave. If the 4 wave is rocket pups you can breathe easy for the 8 wave. I've yet to get RPs on wave 4 and 8.

I hit them with my sword

I hit them with my sword untill they are no longer rocket puppies, but a pile of grease, oil, and scrap beneath my little booties.

Hey Squishat :D

In danger rooms the easiest way is to memorize their spawn pattern and knock them out as soon as they spawn. Easier when not solo, also easier when the entire party is doing the same.

In arenas when there are eight rocket puppies spawning, be sure you are in the bottom left or right corner then wake and kill one or two at a time while hugging the edges. I like start from the bottom so that I have a good view of the field and don't get surprised by off-screen rockets in the middle of my DA's second swing. This is useful for Howlitzer spawn too due to their explosive projectile nature.

If a rocket is heading your way, try to steer it into your target gun puppy, that way they do some of the work for you. Just don't get caught in the blast radius.

I either try to just kamikaze

I either try to just kamikaze kill them with an elemental sword, range them with Polaris, or, if I just happen to be in my bomber setup, spam Nitronome (Nitronome eats rockets, bwahahaha)

If you don't know the spawns and get two or three mad at you at the same time, you could be in trouble. Rocket puppies are probably the single most dangerous enemy in the entire game.

Solo- Stay in whatever corner

Solo- Stay in whatever corner you are closest to. (if you are in the middle, you are screwed). Then kill the puppies closest to you. This leaves a safe corner for retreat. Then proceed to kill off any other gun puppies. (shouldn't be too hard now).
Party: Basically sick to the same strategy as above, and make a safe corner as fast as possible. The only way this won't work is if you have 8 alpha wolves chasing your ass, and all the puppies are awake (in a poison room). Unless you are some uber 5* 2 true love trinket Skolver ASI VH tier 3 maniac, then you are dead. (happened to me today).

My answer: Pulsar line (Preferably the elemental one)

I either stay point-blank running in circles around the Rocket Puppy, or I stand at the maximum Pulsar range and sidestep/shield when a Rocket gets close to me. In both cases, 2 shots, pause, 2 shots, pause, repeat. Reloading gets you killed.

If one is agro'd, I either

If one is agro'd, I either Polaris it or get up close with my sword.

If only a few are agro'd, I put one between me and the rest. This has 2 extremely helpful benefits:

1: Getting right up to a rocket puppy might agro it, but a point-blank rocket does almost 0% damage to my shield. It becomes a dud. Only one thing can damage your shield at a time, if the closest puppy *plink*'s my shield for 0% damage that means that for a single second I can tank another missile without damage to my shield. You'd be surprised how many missiles I was saved from this way.
2: Other rocket puppies firing at me either only hit the puppy I'm behind, or if they hit my shield at least splash-damage it severely.

If nearly all are agro'd by a teammate being in the center, I start running big circles around the arena, running a smaller circle around every puppy on the way while eating pills when I get hit twice. It's like tracing loop-de-loops on a piece of paper. Strafing in circles gives a decent chance of dodging missiles, and by that point you can only hope for the puppies to kill each-other. If things go really bad, at low hp reviving makes both players invincible for a small amount of time, you can chain this 2-3 times at low hp counts if only one of the pair dies at a time.

I've survived up to 5 simultaneous puppies firing on me, but only a few times and every time at the cost of 2-3 pills. I tend not to field test this too much.

this is what do but i dunno if it will work out for you

1.if you happen to have an elemental shield- what i usually do is trigger 1 (just1) and go to the target of the kill. since rocket puppies can kill each other, you can use the blast to inflict fire to the other rocket puppy.
2.out-hit them before it hits you- like all gunpuppies series you can always out hit them (i mostly use 2-hit combo swords because im used to it but i think other swords will just do the same i think). by completing your sword or gun combo (polaris and supernova can do this quite easily) before the rocket puppies attack animation, it will cancel out the attack.

well thats pretty much about it. nothing really special becauseafter all im just a noob =/
