the final flourish charge
the final flourish charge attack is a devastating 3 hit combo against 1 particular target, whereas the barbarous thorn blade's charge attack is more suited for a group of targets coming at you from a direction in a group, so it hits them all. picture a DA charge, without the crazy knockback. it sort of works like that.
the question you want to ask is, you want the crowd based charge attack or the single target. also, if you've got shittonnes of CE, you might as well get both, i did, and each suits me to a specific task (for example, i use FF for lockdown whereas BTB comes handy mostly for wolver runs etc for me, and the occasional lockdown game too)

Wow, this question has been asked an incredible number of times. Please search the forums before starting a new thread. My answer can be found in my Sword Guide.
They're basically the same sword, with the only difference being the charge attack. Most people seem to prefer the BTB charge attack since it has a slight range to it.
BTB has a neat glowy look to it. Flourish is less common to see so it has the appeal of being slightly different from the average player.
You definitely want one of them for the great piercing damage, and you definitely do not want both of them.
