Anything on a shield will do it Ctr/ASI or Damage could be new path,added to token vendor or could improve one of the existing lines.
up to 4* Gun X/X/X bonus low at 5* Gun X/X/X bonus medium just like sword damage bonus on "Bristling Buckler" > "Barbarous Thorn Shield"

I'm a pure gunner and never go anywhere without my SSB. As a gunner, you want to stay out of trouble and not get hit, so any shield will do if you're careful. If it bumps, it's good.
SSB also is juuuuust strong enough to shatter but not hurt you in one zombie hit in FSC!

ASI not necessary as full gunner
seeing as most gunner equip gives ASI, i use trinkets for CTR, so for me, a shield with DMG gun MED would make me oh so happy.

Not a gunner, but I feel for you... Us swordies get all the goodies :3
IMO, just add an alternate alchemy line to the Bristling Buckler to provide a shield with Gun Damage Increased Medium at the 5* level. If I have one for my swords, why can't there be one for Guns? :D
For ASI, swiftstrike buckler also works on guns as well. So far, no CTR equips except for bomb armor (and trinkets).
