(the title says it all)

1) How much damage (in terms of numbers) is one pip of health?

2) Does knockback occur in LD? (Except for with bombs, such as nitronome) When i get hit with a GF, i don't seem to go flying at all, and I think i've been hit with a Suduruska with same results. Both are pretty huge knockback weps, so what gives? (Actually, I think I'm mainly asking about those two weapons, I believe Polaris does actually do some knockback too right?)

Yes, knockback occurs in LD.

Yes, knockback occurs in LD. DA and GF knock back everything except guardians. Also, if someone is wearing Snarb and you hit them with a GF, they won't get knocked back.

It would probably easiest to

It would probably easiest to test this in T1 where weapons do one or 2 bars.
But you would have to factor in armor and class bonuses.

It works by letting your

It works by letting your friend in t1 armor hit you till a single pip is gone, then having him leave so you can see his unaltered damage in the score screen after the match ends. Some voice communication outside the game would help.

It's kind of hard to test

It's kind of hard to test considering how rare T1 games are and how everyone is trying to kill each other rather than sitting by and letting you guys test each hit.

No, I mean go into T3 with armor that has no normal defense and let a friend in with a proto sword hit you until you lose 1 hp. Make sure that friend has no armor/trinkets/class item (striker gives medium sword damage) that gives extra damage.

Damage that you deal, but is reduced by armor is still added to the score screen, so that doesn't work. A T3 wolver set has about 45% (from memory) normal defense, so if a guy with a proto sword hits you for 100 damage before you lose 1 hp you can roughly conclude that 1 hp = 50 damage, since his 100 damage got reduced by 45% every swing. It's safer to just get armor with no normal defense though.

Same goes for damage that goes "over" the max hp of your enemy. If someone has 1 hp left, and you hit him with a Gran Faust you'll gain more points than if you'd have finished him off with a proto sword.
