...in the heat of battle a friend asks you to invite them BUT instead of selecting invite, 000 decide to put the [frakking] join button right beside it & of course you join them. This really pisses me off & I bet this has happened to EVERYONE! so... FFS either move it out of the way OR have a prompt asking you if you "WISH" to join them. STUPID BLOODY OPTION 000--REMOVE IT!

If you wish to invite

If you wish to invite someone, just click on party-select invite a player- write your friend's name on the pop up box.
That way removes some accidents.

@ JuancesPlease.......ask

@ Juances

Please.......ask EVERYONE on your friends list. I would wager everything I have that they have ALL done this. As for your advice, thank you but its ridiculous to have to do something like this just to avoid mistakes. As Eisnayk said, its simple to fix. Being careful is irrelevant. At some stage you will ALL do the same no matter how careful you are. A slight knock on your mouse & you will find yourself back in Haven. Its PATHETIC 000 change it.

This method just takes 5

This method just takes 5 seconds longer and no need to touch anything. Whats wrong with that?
Unless your friends have weird names....

Juances, add me to your friends list, cause I've never done this. We'll split the take.

I've never done this since I

I've never done this since I don't invite people during the "heat of battle". I don't risk getting hit just to invite someone who's going to scale up the enemies I'm fighting. Also, the last thing you need (at least in my opinion) is surprising a newly invited person with 20 monsters all over the place.

Just do what I do, be patient and play it safe. I have yet to do this for that one reason, and I don't foresee this happening to me anytime soon. You CAN be careful enough to not let this happen. Do note that I only use the click the person invite method. I never type a name in unless they're outside guild/friends, which is rare anyways since I don't like the possibility of inviting someone who proves to be dead weight.

While I have yet to

While I have yet to accidentally join someone trying to invite them, I can see how it could cause some problems. I don't think there would be any massive problem in adding a confirmation on clicking join. Perhaps even setting it up so it only asks for confirmation when you're not in Haven so those joining from Haven (which I imagine makes up the majority of party joins) isn't hindered by an extra click every time.

What about trade and inspect?

I'm pretty sure I sent at least 100 accidental trade requests trying to press the inspect button.

I was astounded to find these buttons right next to each other the first time I tried to invite another player. I couldn't help but think that the poor design of that list is such an obvious oversight. Since noticing, I have been very careful, and so far, I have only been a witness to the mis-click, but I would still like to see that danger removed.
