I only know one person that has a Zee Core, which is Guun. (he showed it to me throw Trade Window, its legit ._.)

There are 2 different auctions on Zee cores using the search function and other people claim to have it besides Guun. It could be the reselling of the same mat or fake, idk.
But that let's me answer your question with "Yes"

I saw one once..
Don't remember the name, but someone showed be one before.. wanted something like 10M crowns for it.
I've seen them being touted for trade in /2.
As I understand it no gear requires this material so it is strictly a status rarity.
