The CE limit is such a pain D:

So uh, hey there. I'm just going to make this thread now, even though I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post in e_e

Move it if you know where it belongs <_>

-------------

So basically, my CE limit seem to have reached it's limit, hehe. And I mailed the support mail adress thing, about raising my limit. Then they told me to mail them my IN GAME name, and so I did. But I never got an answer after that.. so. I also checked if my CE limit was raised, but it was not.

Let me also remind you that I actually raised it once, but I think they reduced it again? Idk...

I really have no idea, heh..

So uhm, what do I do now? They're not replying, and I don't see how it's necessary to wait a whole month !! D:

You're supposed to request that with the needed information in one message; otherwise, you'll expect delays in the process.

You'll get an e-mail message once the request is fulfilled.

I think Three Rings are

I think Three Rings are looking out for their players, I don't know. Most companies won't limit things of purchase I think? They could be watching over your financial status. Think of it that way lol. ☺☻ Three Rings's intentions aren't to make this game an addiction. Work, do w.e it is you do, & SK. ☺☻☺

I've actually had trouble

I've actually had trouble recently contacting SK support via email. I'm not sure if maybe their mail server is eating messages again or something.

Yeah well, thank you for the response!

And stop begging for CE please... |:

Well, we know for a fact that 5 digits works fine. I coulda sworn I heard that 6 does too. That'd mean you'd have to have 1 million ce to reach a new digit. And I sincerely doubt you have that. That begs the question as to what the real purpose of this thread is. Is it to pretend you're rich? :|

EDIT: Oh, it's a limit as to how much you can buy from OOO in a set time? Disregard everything I said then.

It's probably to protect against fraud.

30K ce a month isn't enough?

Martinsen's picture

It's a limit of 100 bucks a month, but it's every 30 days. So basically, I bought some in November, and I was supposed to get some for my calendar gift in December... xD

Don't ask, lol

And yeah, it's possible to raise the limit.

RE: Limit

As far as I know, you start with a $100 spending limit. Should you reach that limit, you may request to raise your limit ahead of schedule instead of waiting another 30 days for the limit to be raised and reset. Should your limit be raised, you will be able to spend $200 every 30 days. From there it goes to $400, and then $800. I do not know it you can push your limit beyond $800 (or why you're even willing to spend that much in one go in the first place), but that's as far as I've read into it. Your limit will rise regardless of whether or not you've requested to have it raised ahead of schedule - the difference is that you get to buy more in the same month instead of having to wait.

So, a Tier 1 limit ($100) allows for 40,000 Crystal Energy to be purchased a month,
a Tier 2 limit ($200) allows you to buy 80,000 Crystal Energy a month,
a Tier 3 limit ($400) allows you to buy 160,000 Crystal Energy a month,
and a Tier 4 limit ($800) allows you to buy 320,000 Crystal Energy a month.

So, let's say you cap your limit four months consecutively...you will have spawned 600,000 Crystal Energy into the game. If you're a big spender, hitting the 1,000,000 Crystal Energy milestone is by no means a hard thing to do, but you should be wary of how much money you spend so that your sustainance balance won't be affected.

...

As for your request, Martinsen, expect it to take around five to ten days. That's about how long it took for me, but should it take any longer than my estimate, you might want to check on the progress to see if it's been overlooked or if there is another reason for the delay in response and/or action. Be aware that they have no obligations to grant your request, seeing at it is a request. Only if they deem it suitable may your limit be raised ahead of time.

That being said, best of luck on your limit expansion request. Don't blow it all away on Iron Lockboxes!

@Slayzz

Instead of butting into other people's business and throwing insults, I think you should mind your own business.
If all you came for was to call him a "kid" (which I honestly believe is you here), you might as well not have posted at all.

If he wishes to, and can afford to spend a lot of money on the game, he can do so on his own accord.
His balance is his own responsibility, not ours, and if he can afford to spend that much, I think he can take care of it himself.

Too late, hehe. Already opened a lot of lockboxes. xD

But @Slayzz, I do in fact go outside? ._.

Stop assuming.

There's no need to insult me because I'm supporting a game. Besides, I never said I've EVER spent 800 bucks each month, I wanted to buy 40 k CE as a calendar gift /:

Geez..

@Martinsen My apologies. I didn't mean to insult you, but I got a bit ridiculous. Well, I guess as a gift, it's totally fine. ;(
Sorry for being a troll today. Happens from time to time, but I am almost always nice to people (unless they are messin with the switches at Roarmulus-that's just plain annoying). Good luck with your donation of the CE Martinsen! :)

A $100 cap a month? Wow...

A $100 cap a month? Wow... That's a lot. Just saying. Glad to hear someone is buying CE and support non-paying players like me (I swear I will pay for an elevator pass).

I say wait for it. Three Rings is making sure things are on the up and up.

@Mart -- I changed my

@Mart -- I changed my spending limit a bit, and it takes less than 2 days to do it just make sure your sending the right information to the billing area in e-mails.

Format which might help:

Ign:
Account Name:
Reason why you need to raise limit:

^thats what I usually send in. I really don't see why people post such questions asking knights who aren't even gm's to respond to topics which the forums clearly states just contact a gm via e-mail or support ticket etc. *If your spending limit is already maxed at 800 then you are out of luck*.

@Slayzz, That's alright.

@Everyone else, I think I'm gonna have to wait like the rest of you I guess. xD

And @Shidara, My spending tier? Not sure what my actual tier is, but I buy CE sometimes, and sometimes not. I sort of managed to waste away 80 k CE which I had saved for months, on lock boxes, thus I tried to buy some more CE to like, get it all back. That's why my monthly limit is already full. xD

I'm not really a person who would waste 800 bucks in one MONTH, but yeah, I might have bought CE for a lot of $'s altogether, since the beta.

What they might mean is that

What they might mean is that you need to be logged in and then send a support request. This requires a little trick for steam users since if you follow the support link on top of the page you enter the wiki and we can't enter that yet with steam accounts.

Instead of clicking that link and letting the wiki break your login session follow this direct link while being logged in on the forums:
https://www.spiralknights.com/support/

It should say "logged in as". Click make a request and you can now select a knight too. I sent a request once without being logged in and never got a response despite giving my knight name and everything. When I tried this they complied within hours.

Btw, to everyone here who are wondering; They did in fact raise my CE limit now. To 400 bucks every 30 days, so now I won't be having ANY problems xD

But, within they raised it, I spent my money somewhere else, Steam.. xD
