Hey new recruits! It' great to see you have join the Spiral Alliance, and here are some VERY helpful arsenal tips.

-Don't get fast swords-fast isn't best.

-Florish is a great sword for Lockdown, or the Snarble line is exceptional, too.

-Don't spend money on fads.

Nope.

Personally,i think fast-sword is the best for everything.Because they are fast they can easily swip every single mobs in the map in 1 combo(like my cutter).
Cutter is the only weapon that i had why?not just because i m somekind fan of fast weapon etc:Dual, but its damage was good and had awesome speed. With my cutter i never die in t1-2 except i'm in a worst pt.

Try flourish

If you want speed in a decent sword, at least try flourish: It makes wolvers and Snarbolax a joke. Cutter's combo isn't good in late t2 and t3 because 1) it can't be interrupted, meaning you can't dodge or shield: you WILL get hurt, and that is something you reallly want to do towards the endgame (Cuz the damage is crazy high, even with good armor). 2) Too much moving from each swing gets you into floor hazards easily; in t3, floor hazards can do +5 pips of damage. So, unless you are actually pro at it (in tier 3, not tier 1 or 2), i suggest a diff sword for now (keeping it on the side isn't a bad idea, just have a diff main sword)

You can interrupt the 5 slash

You can interrupt the 5 slash combo you just cant interrupt the charge attack which is pretty much useless.
You move a lot more with the flourish and winmillion than you do with the cutter and people still use those swords(though not that many winmillion users)

Swords

I've got 3 weps: Sealed Sword(going to become an Avenger soon), Striker, and prismatech Alchemer. All LV 10 (except for Sealed, it's 7). FOr single enemies use fast weps, the mobs run around dodging while charging, then get in the middle and lash out.

Try them all, and choose what you like.

I think the first post is pretty terrible advice.

Some people will like fast swords and others will like slow. The best advice is to try out each of the different styles in their 2* versions (Troika, Flourish, Brandish, and Cutter) and see what works best for you. Elements will also be important, so you'll almost certainly want a flourish whether or not you like its speed, because it's the only piercing sword there is. For elemental and shadow, you can choose medium or slow speed. The cutter lines are only normal damage, but they might be what you want if you end up a gunner or bomber.

I personally like fast swords. I have all kind of swords - Avenger and Faust (slow), Silent Nightblade and a couple of different flourishes (medium), winmillion and dread venom striker (fast). While I recognize the power of the Faust, I actually have more success playing with the Silent Nightblade. I got my Dauntless Delver with the Winmillion as my sword (I'm not kidding).

I also recommend that people try out different guns and bombs at the 2* level. You never know what you'll like until you try it. Bombs are my favorite weapon so I spent a long time with just bombs and a normal-damage sword, but eventually I tried a bunch of different guns and now I'm working up gunslinger armor and guns of all types for a change of pace.
