Well what about spectating parties? You can't actually fight or revive them, but you can talk to them and watch them...
And also spectating Krogmo Coliseum matches.

Especially for people new to PvP. Being able to spectate PvP matches will definitely help control the number of people entering matches without having a clue as to what they need to do.
For PvE, no real "usefulness", but if you do it for PvP at some point people will want it for PvE :P
IMO, just be sure that Spectators can't chat directly to the whole party, if not you can use a person as a "strategist" and have that person split the party up for superspeed runs through whatever the group may be doing. Also, if anyone can spectate anyone, troll-spam will happen and that's all the more reason to not let spectators talk to the party in combat. As long as this feature is geared towards the purpose of educating people to do FSC, JK, RT, Shadow Lairs, etc. I'd be all for it! :D
But what if you did guild PvP and other guilds look at your tactics?
[Edit] To anwser my own question, maybe the option to allow spectators, like full inspection.
Also add a ghost mode in this spectator thing where you can watch them without having to be restricted to one person's viewpoint.
It would certainly help when you have new guild members in a really hard clockwork map. I would love to help my members personally but I run out of CE. I think it would be extremely helpful and fun.

I gotta say i'd love to spectate guildmates when i'm bored/out of mist. If it's free. It also wouldn't be the hardest thing ever to add, just make it cicle through knights as you can do when you're waiting for a revive.
