Umbra Driver vs a hypothetical pure shadow damage Sentenza - Which one would be better?

This is pretty close....but
This is pretty close....but Umbra driver for PvE and PvP (depends on skill), and Sentenza for PvP exclusively. Sentenza would do pure shadow damage, but it would be pretty low. Umbra driver would be more for pure damage against both single and multiple enemies. It's hard to judge though, because we don't know the damage for a pure shadow Sentenza yet. Sentenza COULD possibly be used against mobs, but only the charge attack. (Graviton Vortex + Shadow Sentenza charge would own against jellies)

Sentenza would probably be my go-to if I didn't get a stupid-awesome UV on my shadow gun.
it'd make absolute mincemeat out of gremlins, who've always been a pain to gunners when they dodge. With my ASI up around high-max, it doesn't really matter if the grems jump back; i'll only miss with one bullet out of 6. The bullet's naturally low damage rating isn't so much of an issue when you're hitting with so many shots.
For crowds, Umbra since the ricochets are amazingballs in general. For a single monster, probably Sentenza. They're both pretty good for running and gunning, also fast bullets, so it's a pretty close tie really.
