Again, Im sorry if someone else said this before, as I do not read Suggestions often.

A mode where youy see through the knights eyes. is it called 1st-person? Anyways...

Of course there would be disadvatages as you could not see behind you, but I think it would make the player fell... I dont know, more in control maybe? Thet they're more like the knight?

If you wanted to go in the clockworks though, this mode would not be a good idea.

It might be unnecessasry for this anyway...

Anyways, does anyone else think this would be great? Or am I just dreaming/crazy?

This is very unlikely to

This is very unlikely to happen, I use the Spiral Spy model viewer a lot and one thing you find out is that the devs don't bother to texture the areas you can't see from above, if you were to look at many of the game models from a lower angle you would find that many of them have large empty untextured areas in the places you can't see from the overhead view, to make your idea work they would essentially have to redo nearly all the game models texture maps so they can be viewed from other angles.

Exactly... the game was made SPECIFICALLY to look from one camera angle, any other angle will look bad. unless you use sprites (ewww gross)

Anyone using this in anything approaching a busy fight would be cut to pieces in no time.

I like the idea simply because it would be cool, though I'm thinking less 1st person, more along a movable camera (runescape style, if you know what i mean)

However, as mentioned, huge downsides: Tons of retexture-ing, and a single view point puts the player at a HUGE disadvantage. The monster's are also designed so that you can see them when they come from behind you (and react), not so that they can ambush you when you're occupyed with other monsters. Plus, general gameplay would be much more difficult cuz you can't see around walls, etc...
